Mine is pretty lame, compared to foos' 100% faster mana regen (who is a higher level though). They're definitely not all the same. Mine just gives me 20% better archery, lockpicking, and alchemy. It is light armor though, and provides for 30 protection while looking hella cool :v:[/QUOTE]

Then something is either 1.) Wrong with how I play or 2.) Wrong with how my character is set up.
I've got a Exquisite Dwarven War Axe and it doesn't feel like I'm doing a whole lot, even with the aid of copious amounts of flamethrower. If they've got a 2H weapon then I'm even more screwed because they can typically take me out in two hits, forcing me to constantly backtrack and use up the few potions I get.
Am I going to have to restart?

They take you out in two hits and you've an exquisite dwarven axe (rough assumption on the level of your character)? It'll take even the best bandit 5 or 6 hits to take me out with a two handed weapon, and I use light armor. Use a shield, grab an amulet to improve blocking, actually use shield bash inbetween or right before their attacks. Ditch 2H weapons and don't rely on magic for a while. Just got an Adept robe, and a unique amulet and circlet to improve my magicka generation and overall cap on my end, yet I'm still not quite able to fully rely on it.

But I'm a Spellaxe, what is a Spellaxe without Spells? Well, I've got a shitload of shields so I guess it can't hurt to attempt it. My block is horribad though.
I'm prob going to make a vid or something of how I play archer, I usually sneak in, take a shot with my arrow for 2x damage then sneak away, repeat. I don't even get hit once.

I'm a spellaxe too, but I don't use spells if it means I'll need to stun someone or block a potentially fatal attack in close quarters. Hell I've the quick reactions perk and I use the shield just to completely dodge power attacks, that from some bosses [I]are[/I] fatal. Useful as hell for enemies that have very little animation prior to the attack (looking at you dwarven centurions & rollers, polar bears, sabre cats, dagger assholes, etc).
