I'm gonna spend all my gold on iron ingots and leather straps and craft the ~425 iron daggers it takes to make your smithing up and make some good armor.
go to uh, kolskegger mine east of markath and mine all the gold there, you'll get a dickload of gold ingots worth
craft them all into necklaces, you'll level up a decent amount, and make a good amount of money from the necklaces
(i had about 20 necklaces, worth around 100 each, plus some necklaces with jewels so it's pretty decent money)

If you want iron though there's a mammoth-poachers cave somewhere in those fields near Whiterun, had shitloads of iron veins. I came out of that cave with 30-some Iron.
Orc Strongholds' mines are also VERY good sources of Ebony, atleast the one at Narzulbur, east of Kynesgrove, was. Their smith even bought the ebony I mined at a really good price; though the quest to gain Blood-Kinship was a real bitch thanks to an adept mage.

uh
uh
Whatever the fuck he was, he wasn't a normal one. Adept really wasn't the right word to use.
Even Apprentice mages are a pain in the ass. Maybe it's because I only play on master, but it's a strategic game of life and death when an adept mage comes into the fray.

Also Niko, can you post pictures or atleast a location of Volume 2?
Ebony Mail > Dragon armor.
No joke.
Look it up.
I get a 142 armor rating on the Ebony Mail and like 122 on the Dergon plate and the Ebony Mail WEIGHS LESS

Storm cloaks are like the tea party movement. SKYRIM 4 NORDS AND NO 1 ELSE!!! 1
I don't think you understand the tea party movement then.
I'm not discussing vidja politics fuq dat.
Exaggeration is fun

After doing a quest in the MQ that gives you a Thalmor Dossier on Ulfric, which I won't spoil because it's interesting, I keep seeing myself aligning to the Imperials now more than the Stormcloaks. Tullius, at the end of the Stormcloak campaign evem says that [sp]with a divided Empire it makes it even harder to stand a chance against the Aldmeri, and that they'll just be swallowed up.[/sp] Which makes sense.
i never joined a side.
Stormcloaks seem like nationalistic fucks, imperial aren't perfect but they seem to be the better choice.
I wonder if you can join both :v:
