you can't if you join one side, the quest to join the other autofails
Oh, cool. So I sided with Stormcloaks if only because the Empire was banning the worship of Talos, who is honestly one of the deities I favor the most. I feel kind of bad splitting the Empire apart, but I'm sure Ulfric and the Stormcloaks can stand their own if the [sp]Aldmeri[/sp] ever decide to rear their ugly faces again, and if they can't, then I'm sure the Empire will still back us up, if only because they stand for the protection of Tamriel. So yeah, Imperials really need to get Talos Worship back, then I'll reconsider.
why do they ban the worship of talos anyway? I don't see what's so bad about it.
why do they ban the worship of talos anyway? I don't see what's so bad about it.
the eight divines are all gods and talos was just an awesome man, or so goes the logic of the imperials [editline]18th November 2011[/editline]
That's been in TES since Morrowind, I've yet to find it in Skyrim though, who was the NPC?
i found that one and the new one, Volume 2, in an inn in either Riften, Winterhold or Windhelm, I can't actually remember specifically. It was that one inn with the girl that worships Mara and has the statue of Mara, if you go into the room behind her it's on her nightstand if i remember correctly she's the kinky bitch with shackles and leather straps lying around her bed [editline]18th November 2011[/editline] i'll see if i can find the inn again, brb
Well it was really the Dominion's decision, because the White-Gold Concordat gave them unrestricted power to enforce laws like that within the Empire. I guess the Dominion doesn't recognize a man ascending to god-hood as a true deity. [editline]18th November 2011[/editline] Vidya Thread: Making sense of virtual politics since 11*11*11
alright i found the books it's in Riften, as it turns out, in Haelga's Bunkhouse this place: you go in and then through this door and take a left and both volumes are on the nightstand (thank me later)
why do they ban the worship of talos anyway? I don't see what's so bad about it.
The Aldmeri Dominion forced the Emperor to ban it quite literally at swordpoint in what's called the White-Gold Concordat, you'll see it referenced quite a lot. edit: fuck
"Digital Snow Camouflage Stormcloaks" Oh god why
btw i might add that volume 2 is pretty fucking funny, i like it better than volume 1, although it's even less subtle
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=490 For you would-be archers and smiths out there
whoa are the devtools out? [editline]18th November 2011[/editline] aw nevermind
"Digital Snow Camouflage Stormcloaks" Oh god why
wow i saw that and was going to post but but :(
why do they ban the worship of talos anyway? I don't see what's so bad about it.
They banned it because everyone was worshiping the shit out of Talos and almost completely forgetting the other eight. Seems like a valid reason to me, but banning the worship of a god that's been around for a few hundred years isn't the greatest idea either. Still sided with the stormcloaks, thought they might provide a bit more interesting a quest line than the empire. [editline]18th November 2011[/editline]
Uh, that's all fine and dandy except when there's more than one. [editline]18th November 2011[/editline] Also Niko, can you post pictures or atleast a location of Volume 2?
Shield bash, ice form, conjure fire atronach, proceed to beat the shit out of the second mage.
Ha, real men use Dual glass swords with Fire Breath at max unlocks! [editline]18th November 2011[/editline] Also, siding with the Empire is really dumb if you want to [sp]play through the whole DB questline[/sp]
[sp]play through the whole DB questline[/sp]
What happens? I'm siding with the Empire :ohdear: Also I bought the airport hangar in SR3 and there a was an A-10, you have no idea how happy I was
[sp]You assassinate the Emperor[/sp] <---- DB Spoilahs
So can I complete the DB questline then finish the Impirial?
They banned it because everyone was worshiping the shit out of Talos and almost completely forgetting the other eight. They had a war with the high elves and they one. The elves see a human god as blasphemy so they forced the empire to ban talos worship
Hey bird they banned it because they were forced to. They had a war with the high elves and they one. The elves see a human god as blasphemy so they forced the empire to ban talos worship
Forgot about that part.
Does skyrim run nicely on shit hardware? [editline]19th November 2011[/editline] I run BF3 on 800x600 with everything on low at 30 fps
I can't run BF3 without 5-10 FPS and massive audio problems, yet I can run Skyrim at Medium for about 20-35 FPS, which is somehow completely bearable for me. I've got a 1.86Ghz DC and 9800 GT. The odd thing is that sometimes I've even gotten vsync issues, anyone know how to turn vsync on?

I got Skyrim on my PS3, but the display area is bigger than my TV and I can't find a way to change it, so I can never see my compass or the little messages that pop up in the top-right corner. That said, it is an extremely amazing game.
