This board tought me that drugs are a waste of time. I think the majority of people who post here seem easily lead and a lot of you glorify drugs. Some of you say this board has made you "less ignorant" and that "weed is so great". Personally the only reason I think you're saying its made you less ignorant is because now you're into drugs you understand other peoples views who are on drugs. I'll probably get slated for saying all of this but this is a drug board to talk about drugs, whether its good or bad views on drugs. And for the record, I'm experienced about drugs, not massively but I know a fair bit compared to other people I know who do certain drugs. I've done stuff and seen horrible things up close and its all bull crap. Move all of that aside I suppose this is a great place to come to to tell other stoners how stoned you are and how amazing the last song you listened to was and how delicious that cookie was.

I didnt say "dont do drugs because you'll die" I told him to be careful and that personally I wouldnt do that drug of choice but I dont wanna be a hypocrite, so I let him be. And the only reason I was worried because he was unsure himself. If he was confident and educated on what he was doing then I would be alright, but that the fact that he was a bit scared and weary on the drug I had to step in and say look, it can be bad what youre getting into but be careful and you should be fine. Why is that so bad? And I'm not forcing my lifestyle on him and all of this is his own decision, the only thing I can do is be there for him if it does fuck up. I'm only blaming certain things on here for actually influencing him and glorying it, which he knows himself. I wish people wouldnt get so uptight like you, theres really no need to call me a pussy and assume I have some sort of up my own arse lifestyle.

Informed and made me open to the idea of taking drugs, if it wasn't for y'all I wouldn't be smoking pot, I feel that my life would be been worse off if I hadn't as I have clinical depression and that's helped a lot. All the anti depression meds did was make me feel like a zombie. Also when I got caught on oxycodone my parents looked at my internet history and saw DD, they grounded me for like 9 months. But it's all good since they are okay with me smoking weed.

When i came here i was basically looking for info, i know most people on here are for drugs obviously but it really hasnt changed my view on drugs. For example, back in high school junior year, i was very anti drugs, weed was considered very dangerous along with LSD, shrooms, even underage drinking (yes i was this ignorant). Then next year everything changed and i decided to get drunk, despite getting a little to drunk i enjoyed it, then me and my friends decided to try smoking weed for the first time, we enjoyed it. THEN, i came to DD to learn more about weed, and i then learned about every other drugs. Now all thats changed after coming to is that its made me slightly curious about other drugs. But i havent tried them because i still have limits at my house and shit and i dont feel all that comfortable with them. Basically my view on drugs was by my experiences only, not from DD. If your friend doesnt feel ready then he shouldnt do it. And if hes getting any pressure from DD to do it, its his fault, i havent seen anyone push drugs on someone in here besides when someone is joking with a regular that always does that drug.

Yea I see people post bad experiences and good experiences about drugs. You always see people say why they do not like a certain drug etc.

You never know, some people might of seen where I was coming from and some might of not. The title of the thread is "What has DD done for you?" I'm just voicing my thought which is my opinion. I know this is probably something you don't care and/or didn't want to read but non drug users or ex users can post here too. I seem to have totally different views even with some drug users, mainly because mine are first hand and I've witnessed them in real life and other users just have their experience from the internet and a bag of weed. I knew people would get stressed by what I said but I don't really care, I stand by what I think. I'm not going to really bother anymore since my ideals wont live up to your more experienced and stoner ideals.
