Wtf is up with this guy's legs?
It's probably not the first time.
What a cunt
This kept me speechless for awhile... valuepointdistribution (User was permabanned for this post ("Spambot" - AshMan55))
His leg scar though.
Serves her right.
Before people start calling me a hypocrite or anything for earlier calling the surveillance camera man a dick, but being caught on video as a tiny pixel is hardly a breach of their privacy.
I think the most important thing is that people aren't being singled out or having their personal space violated.
Before people start calling me a hypocrite or anything for earlier calling the surveillance camera man a dick, but being caught on video as a tiny pixel is hardly a breach of their privacy.
Neither are a breach of privacy because you're in a public place. You know. Public, the exact opposite of private.
You guys really missed the point of surveillance camera man, it was supposed to make you think how creepy surveillance cameras in general are
You guys really missed the point of surveillance camera man, it was supposed to make you think how creepy surveillance cameras in general are
I really don't understand how they're creepy. How is a CCTV camera across the street any different than the person across the street? Both of them can see what you're doing, but you don't freak out when you see another person who can see you.
A security camera records data, remains anonymous, and has the potential you single you out without your knowledge. It's more akin to a person across the street staring at you. People don't mind being seen obviously but they have never liked being watched, and that predates cameras
Yeah but CCTV cameras actually serve a purpose, and the recorded videos aren't uploaded on youtube, or most of the time even watched more than once

I've caught glimpses of my security desk, they do indeed zoom in on people doing casual things and just watch them for a while, which is precisely what SCM does except with complete transparency. Yes, actual surveillance does have a purpose, but I think his point is more to point out how readily we have accepted behavior that would normally make us very uncomfortable for the sake of those purposes, and to highlight the "out of sight, out of mind" mentality most of us take with these things. Regardless of whether or not he's actually achieving this goal is another question entirely, but you guys seem to think he's just trolling when he specifically spouts rhetoric used to justify surveillance in his videos "if you aren't doing anything wrong there's nothing to worry about" so it's clear what his intentions are. But I digress, this isn't the right thread for this. What the guy with the RC plane did was obviously nothing like SCM and he was unquestionably in the right.
Anyone else find it kind of retarded that he was kind of accused of doing all that stuff and the cops bought it just because she got her story in first, even thought he was the one who dialed the cops.
just goes to show you should always have some sort of camera ready to film an encounter like this
As a photographer I can sort of relate to this event. I had a similar incident in Panama City, but it did not lead to an assault. I have only been to the beach three times in my life and as a photographer, I decided to take my camera with me. I walk along the shore just taking pictures of basically anything (water, birds, sand castles, etc.). Nothing creepy or suspicious. A girl approaches me and says she doesn't like what I am doing. "I've seen you here, you have been walking around taking creepy pictures for an hour. I don't like that." I find it funny that she thought I cared about her opinion at all and that somehow while hundreds of other people have their cameras out, she singled me out as the creeper. Public photography is heavily frowned at these days. I can't seem to go anywhere without people getting paranoid or asking why I am taking pictures. It is a stupid shame.

"oh look a thread i can shove my agenda in!" anyway, shit like this makes me afraid to fly my planes or even drive my cars in public places, even though none of them have cameras.
What the fuck lol Read all the posts and read the context the conversation evolved from??? I'm not even the one who derailed it dipshit
You guys really missed the point of surveillance camera man, it was supposed to make you think how creepy surveillance cameras in general are
No, he's just an annoying cunt. Everyone here thinks he does it to prove to society that they're being watching at all times anyway, and that there is no difference between them being watched by security cameras all over the place as opposed to some jackass with a video camera. He does it to just piss people off.
Figures, the one time my local beach gets in the news, it's for something like this :v: That said, talk about a weird thing to happen; things are usually quiet around here.
jeez what a bitch
I would have lost my shit so hard in that situation.
Pretty ironic that he secretly filmed the woman being paranoid about being secretly filmed
And now her face is everywhere. What a well thought out plan.
[img_thumb]http://puu.sh/9jNn1/2040a3833e.jpg[/img_thumb]
Who are you? What have you sacrificed?

Maybe something about taking pictures at the beach automatically makes people think you'll want to take pictures of them half-naked.
Smart on him not to defend himself. Had he hit her he would have been the one going to jail no question. It's this kind of thing that really irritates me, woman are just as abusive and prone to commit assault as men. The only difference is that they typically get away with it because they are woman. And as a male, defending yourself in means of attacking the attacker is grounds for becoming the victim even moreso. Glad to see this bitch got what she deserves.
While it would have been counted as self defence I think people who don't fight back in situations like this should be respected, it takes alot to be able to do that (and I don't think I'd be able to).

That's just not how it works when a man hits a woman. Even if there's footage showing the woman initiating the attack.
*tips atheism*
Le may may rebuttal xDDDD
Le may may rebuttal xDDDD
So instead of just leaving it be, you come back with a post that's worse than both of the other two?
Oh shit the video got flagged down
Im doing FPV myself, never anyone was annoyed by my plane, however, if someone push or assault me like in the video and crash my plane with over 300$ of equipement on it, trust me he will regret it.
Jesus, I could swear it's mostly fat people that get emotionally unbalanced like this and pull these types of tricks when it comes to cameras Guy also had a weird scar on his leg. Imagine if she'd hurt him there or something, that woman would've likely been in some serious fucking trouble
