yeah, it's totally possible to love life, be happy, be fun, and support barring the disgusting negros from entering the country because they're criminal animals who riot loot rape and murder everywhere they go
Don't put words into people's mouths.
If I just denounced everybody because they have an idiotic view about something I wouldn't have any friends.
That's rather depressing. You should think about that
Don't put words into people's mouths.
i'm not is the crazy thing
also before someone jumps down my throat. I'm not defending his views and I don't agree with his views and I think they're dumb opinions and ideas.

But we're talking about public figures who work in entertainment, not personal relationships

They're still human beings.
You are literally no different then JonTron in how abhorrent the shit you're saying is.
Holy shit?
Okay, have fun with your little echo chamber, guys!
Who would have thought someone could crash harder than GradeA.
That's rather depressing. You should think about that
?????????????????????????
My friends say stupid shit sometimes I'm not gonna stop being their friends because of it.
They're still human beings.
And?
Like, poor wording on your part aside, I was with you when you were talking about not judging Jon's work based on his character. But now it's pretty fucking clear you're just here to stifle discussion and try to guilt trip everyone into shutting up
Holy shit?

*ignores 99% of his post*
WOW you guys LITERALLY WON'T LISTEN to a contrary opinion. That's so sad :/
:snip:
Oh wow, another person and content creator I looked up to who went down the slope this year.
You don't have to think that. You can still enjoy his content debates aside. I sure will.
also before someone jumps down my throat. I'm not defending his views and I don't agree with his views and I think they're dumb opinions and ideas.

The main difference here is most regular people with bad ideas usually don't publicly advocate their ideas as if they're 100% correct. There's a reason he's facing backlash right now. If he argued his points correctly and not like a naive arrogant child (if that's even possible) people would probably not have payed attention. There are real arguments for anti-immigration, his were terrible and he's proud about them being terrible; because he thinks terrible things are good simply because they're the opposite of SJW values.
I mean how the fuck can anyone who is moderate in any sense advocate for white only immigration it is honestly baffling and indicative of a real piece of garbage.
I'm so sick of people putting politics in my video games
this is all actually gamergate's fault
And?

Sorry if that's the way you see what I'm saying, but that isn't my intention. Just trying to add some perspective to the conversation.
You don't have to think that. You can still enjoy his content debates aside. I sure will.
Already know that but I don't think I can really view Jon himself in the same light as I have previously, along with all the drama already flooding through the seams.
You don't have to think that. You can still enjoy his content debates aside. I sure will.
It's not like his opinions will make his content shit, but it's at least always going to be something in the back of my mind.
I don't see why just because someone thinking the white demographic is being displaced in America means that they don't love life or are generally happy and fun.
You realize that human beings are a little more complex than to be summarized by the 2 hour interruption match posted in the OP.
i'm sure he's got more to him, hell like i said i've seen pretty much every front facing side of jon just from what i've watched of his. the point i was getting across is the idea of positivity and negativity. he's usually spreading pretty positive opinions, or just in general trying to have fun or have a laugh with most of what he does. so him spreading so many negative opinions is pretty jarring.
i should be more clear. a positive opinion, in my opinion (well isn't that just a fun sentence) is something that isn't actively trying to stop or hurt someone else. generally i believe that anyone who has more positive opinions is a positive person and that's what i've seen with jon before. a negative opinion is the opposite, an opinion that a person should stop doing something. while not a bad thing by nature, someone who carries a lot of those opinions around i consider to be a negative person.
now, there's literally no one in the world who does this perfectly, and everyone has negative opinions and positive opinions, hell even in the process of describing what i think about negative opinions i've outed myself as having one. nobody's perfect, but it's the sum of your parts that makes you. so if you're spreading (and make note of this, spreading, not believing. you can have your own thoughts but it's how you act on those thoughts that makes you.) more negative opinions than positive, then you're a negative person. jon is a negative person because of his rampage of opinions these last couple months through multiple outlets and never really anything positive or neutral.
anyways that's a lot more than i wanted to go into, and i could go on for hours about my philosophical beliefs on positivity/negativity. the point is, jon has become a negative person for spreading more negative opinions over positive ones, not just because they were opinions i don't like. my general outlook on life is to spread positive opinions, positive messages, or in general things that make people laugh, smile, or just feel good inside about. if you can't do that, you can still carry your own opinions, but you should consider releasing what you feel and think, "will this hurt someone? will someone be discomforted by what i'm saying?" again, you can still say that, but don't expect anyone wanting to listen to you, especially if it's starting to build up and becomes an amalgamation of who you are. if anything, as the old saying goes, if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.
tl;dr: positivity and neutrality are better than negativity, and while nobody's perfect, having one over the other seems to define you the most. so simply reach to spread peace and love, but also don't feel bad if you can't be entirely positive, cause like you said there's two sides to everyone and we shouldn't shunt every side of them. peace. ♥
edit: as a final point, i will still watch his videos because his videos are generally positive and don't add something negative to the world. after all this though, i just don't really want to listen to his reasoning anymore.
Who would have thought someone could crash harder than GradeA.
GradeA didn't really crash, he just burnt up all of his combustible material and became obnoxious trying to keep the fire going.
I'm more inclined to believe that wealthy people in general, regardless of race, are more likely to commit crime because they can bribe their way out of trouble.
The impoverished, regardless of race, don't have that luxury.
So this is how the JonTron falls.
?????????????????????????

Depends on what you mean by stupid. If it's "I like pineapple pizza" fair game, but if it's "kill all jews and deport colored people" kind of stupid then you should.
Oh wow, another person and content creator I looked up to who went down the slope this year.
All you need is Jerma985. He's the definition of a cinnamon bun. I can't think of a single person he has been mean to.

How can anyone not love this man?

honestly at the defense of the friend here, if someone i knew and loved said something incredibly stupid like that, i would still be their friend, but i wouldn't put any trust in them until they could say something counter to that point. it would only be if that opinion became all they were that i would then call them out on it and probably stop being their friend.

Yeah, a real pure soul that one.

Alright, I don't necessarily agree that these few very topical streamed conversations are a summarization of his personality, but I can see where you are coming from at least.
Alt right? Deep end? Am I reading this right? Jon is now alt right deep end nazi because he has anti-immigration views? Whoa
I never said he was a Nazi, now did I? Maybe it's just me but the whole "Race Realist" line of views he has and is displaying makes him, to me atleast, going off into the deep end and into the alt-right spectrum.
Now does make him a blood thirstily, lynch em all and pour in the zyklon B Nazi?
No, it doesn't. And I also don't see the Alt Right as all that either. But the views and beliefs that he is portraying are very foolish.
Newsflash, he's probably always thought this way. It's just that his content has nothing to do with politics. Go ahead and hate the guy based on summarizations of a conversation. Denouncing his content is irrelevant and dumb though.
While you are most likely correct about him unfortunately having those views long before I found his channel and started enjoying his content. I do believe in the separation between the artist and his art.
And I do apologize if that came off as how you said, maybe I should have chosen a diffident choice of words to describe my disappointment of his views on race and immigration
Alright, I don't necessarily agree that these few very topical streamed conversations are a summarization of his personality, but I can see where you are coming from at least.
thanks man, i hope i could be clear, though i guess i did just open up my psyche a bit lol. appreciate the understanding, and i think i do see where you're coming from too.
I genuinely thought the whole "Jon Tron is a racist" thing was a meme up until this point...
But seriously, I can't even contemplate defending "Wealthy blacks commit more crime than poor whites. That's a fact, look it up"
White nationalism is more than just some "stupid shit". You really should avoid befriending anyone that holds discriminatory views, especially something as toxic as hardcore racism.
well yeah no shit, the original post said this though

Brutalmoose scratches that jontron itch i used to have, similar content but with different subject matter. He also visits his Facepunch thread from time to time and interacts with us!

i wouldn't put too much stock in Jerma "Jugend" 985, he's been tweeting about giant rat supremacy
