Looking at [URL="https://clips.twitch.tv/HedonisticReliableSamosaKappaRoss"]the clip[/URL] that started this latest shitstorm, I feel if Destiny wasn't profusely vomiting spaghetti this could have lead to a debate on the status of the working class in current American society, based on psychicpebbles' comments that he initially took issue with. Like if people fling shit at each other, that's fine. I can ignore that. People get mad at each other and do terrible shit all the time. But it's when I feel like that if temper's didn't flare that a reasoned and engaging debate could have happened that is when it gets me down. Even if you think the person you're talking to is completely wrong, we, the audience, are thinking individuals capable of making our own judgements based on what gets presented. It'd be like if I was reading Plato and halfway through Socrates abandons the Socratic method, takes a shit on the table, and walks out the room, and then the rest of the story becomes just a bunch of name calling and dank memes. Potential turned into petty waste.

Also, yeah, Sargon shit-posts, but so does everyone from time to time. He has his serious posts and his shit posts and he is generally pretty good at labeling them as one, the other, or a mix. The most shit-posty thing in his debate with Destiny, from what I remember, is calling him a "dummy" during a heated part of the discussion. Honestly, I think that their interaction was the closest thing to a proper attempt at examining the issues. Also, in Destiny's defense, it seems what he was trying to say in regards to the animators is that their job isn't obviously harder than a construction worker. That in of itself isn't a horrible thing to say, even though I disagree on the grounds that making that sort of evaluative comparison across people is pretty strange.
