I was close to drowning in the bothnian sea outside Söderhamn when I was five.
Ironically, I was partially saved by Hypothermia.
Please, explain.
I was once in Walgreens, I had gotten sick and we didn't have any cough-drops. I had just gotten a Starbucks drink and had finished it, and I have this obsession of chewing ice, so I decided to start chewing ice. When I was chewing ice I coughed and it got stuck in my throat. I was choking for around 40 seconds until the ice melted.
When I was young I almost got blind in one eye. We had these special interest groups at my old school. One of them was a building group, anyways, I was digging a hole. I was using one of those shovels that's missing a cap on it, making it basically a long hollow metal pole with a digging tool at the end. Anyways, I was getting frustrated due to the hard ground and began to dig harder and harder. Eventually I accidentally slammed the shovel into my right eye and collapsed backwards, and all of the nasty spider webs and dust that was inside of the metal pole poured out into my face, getting into my eyes. It hurt to open my eye for a whole entire week :smith:.
Just recently, I was testing out Modern Warfare 2 to see if it was really the shit everyone calls it ( There was a free week ). The next thing I know I woke up hanging out of my chair, the back of my head hurting like fuck, and a stain on the corner of my glass desk.
I frankly remember almost drowning to death, due to my foot being caught in something and when I was 4 my parents told me I ran into a cement wall, head first.

it sucks so bad it almost killed you
When I was like 5 or 6 my aunt put me in this catholic day care/pre-school place because my parents couldn't bother watching me all day. One day during recess I helped this little black girl by pushing her on the swing, in return she did the same. As I was swinging back towards her I got frightened of how fast I was going so I dug my feet into the sand below to slow me down, this resulted in me kicking sand all over her.
In retaliation, the bitch picked up a hand full of sand just as I was turning around to say sorry and she tossed it into my face. Some of the sand got into my left eye and it was stinging really bad, I went to the nurse to ask for help but she ignored me and instead she put me in this room full of cots that we napped on and forced me to sleep. My parents picked me up later that day and took me home, and the next morning I was blind in my left eye.
We sued the bitch for 50K during the following weeks and I should be getting that money when I turn 18.

Also, one night I was enjoying myself with a bowl of ice that I sucked on and I think I either went to cough or sneeze and it got stuck in my throat. I was gasping and choking for about 30 seconds before I leaned forward real fast and it shot out my mouth and into the hall way before striking the lampshade in the next room.
There was this one time I was chasing after some cheap artifact, and I almost got sucked into a vortex.
True story.
Got bit by poisonous spiders when I was 11. Didn't think they were anything really until I noticed these red lines under my skin that jutted out of the bites and connected with my veins on my right arm. Went to a doctor and I had to go to the emergency room. Had to take a lot of pills a day for a week.
when i was a kid i was wondering why you cant breath underwater, i was taking a bath and went under the surface and breathed in through my nose. i felt the water going through and i panicked and got up
Same thing happened to me once, except on my way up I hit my head on the faucet and almost drowned.
Please, explain.
The hypothermia cramped up my trachea and that stopped me from inhaling too much water before I was saved.
surfing in storm conditions - dropped 8 feet onto reef, almost drowned, fractured spine
Edit:
was able to walk again after a month, surfing again after 4, immediately went back to the same spot & conquered my fear
I was laying on the cold, icy sidewalk in mid-February. My right femur had been snapped in half after a friend of mine had talked me on the ice. With minor hypothermia setting in I began to shiver violently, causing the compound fracture in my thigh to move around. With the bone slicing through my muscle I figured I was a little lucky that it was so cold, because it numbed the pain. It took a little over a half hour for the ambulance to get there. The paramedics said I was lucky that the bone didn't shatter my artery in my leg. I would've been dead in minutes if it did.
Oh, and did I mention that it was the second time I had broken that bone in the same exact place?
It's all good now though, I've got a metal rod through the inside of my bone and some badass scars up my thigh.
About 15 months ago i got into a motorcycle crash. I was riding my sportbike up some back roads around my college. When some idiot pulled out of a driveway way to fast and i almost clipped him. I would have been ejected from my bike if i didnt swerve and loose my bike. I slid about 20 feet, tore up a good amout of my leather. Man that was a fucking bad day.
It was either the time I
1. Split my head open when I fell on my forehead on the edge of a brick fireplace
or
2. This kid was being an asshole and was trying to wrestle me. Somehow he made be bend backward so far that I swear I could not breathe for like 15 seconds. Scariest thing that's ever happened to me. I really thought I was going to die.
Either when I hit a tree with my truck or when I flipped an ATV
Oh and when I was forced to swerve into traffic on my bike...dodged like 3 cars all of which were inches from me
when i was little i fell in my aunt's pool and my cousin saved me. And this one time i did a handstand and almost fell down my grandma's basement steps but somehow i caught myself on the top step
i accidentally shot myself
i accidentally shot myself
How can you accidentally shoot yourself?!
I once stepped on a nail. AW

I was around 10 maybe, on my little quad, and I was going around 25 mph following my dad. I wasn't really watching the road, and my front tire hit a fairly large rock, which kicked it to the side and lifted it on two wheels. Thankfully I lost my balance and went flying off because it then turned, rolled down a hill, and slammed into barbed wire at around 30 mph.

I almost fell backwards into a very deep chasm, that was extremely narrow but very sharp, with massive waves crashing down below.
My brother grabbed my hand
I got trapped in a riptide when visiting family in Mexico, Cancun to be exact, my dad and some random Mexican dude had to save me.

I have never swam in the ocean ever since, that was like 6 years ago.
Something like that happened to me. I was swimming at a local beach with my sister and a person I use to be friends friends with. We were swimming between the flags too and we got caught out an undertow. It was scary as because I couldn't touch the bottom and it was quite strong. Our "life guards" were talking to the bikini girls too and I just managed to get out by myself. I haven't swum in the beaches since and that happened in Jan 2007
Also when I was about 8, I was swimming in a lake with my cousins and a couple of my uncles. There was a raft floating out in the lake and they all swam out to it. I decided I would follow suit and swam out too, I got about half way and started to get tired and then started drowning. All I remember was sinking to the bottom and one of my uncles diving in to save me. If he wasn't there then I probably would've drowned in that lake.
I was driving my truck down a really curvy dirt road with a massive drop off on one side. Took a turn too fast, went on two wheels and almost flipped off the side. When I got back on four wheels I did a 180, stopped the car, and went back to my tracks. They were literally 2 inches away from the edge, I measured it. Not only would I have probably gotten very injured, the 6 people in the back would have been thrown out, possibly crushed. Scariest moment of my life.
I got hit by a car twice over the past 1 year and almost got hit by cars numerous times over the past couple weeks
This isn't a really bad one.
When I was 7, I swallowed a huge mint and I was crying, then when I went down stairs, you saw the sweet and I coughed, and it came out all wet. It was horrible.

I don't think anyone here saw the sweet...You might want to fix your sentence. :v:
My mother used to tell me stories of how when I was in the womb my umbilical cord nearly got severed which meant nutrients couldn't get into my body, and I almost died before I was born.
