Wherever I look on the Avatar bords over at IMDB, all the trolls are yelling "LOOK SLIKE CRYSIS". If Avatar was a video game with the same graphics as shown in the trailers etc, no PC would be able to run it.

It would have been great that Ubisoft licensed CryEngine 3 to do the game, but since it was in production much earlier than the engine, it's hopeless.
I'm pretty sure the game will suck tough, I don't trust Ubi.

Saw the trailer when I went to see District 9, maybe the 3D thing is going to be ZOMG AMZING but that aside the movie looked stupid as hell.
Really hope it's not "Guy turns into blue 'alien' and then joins their alien tribe, and then fights corrupt humans, some fights happen, some empathetic scenes happen, , some more fighting, aliens win despite ridiculous odds"
Because if that's the case I've already seen the movie in one form or another about a hundred fucking times.

It's a shame its more then likely going to flop compared to the budget.

Updates to quell fears, I'll list the ones here:
1. [B]Why the fuck are Humans there?[/B]: For some sort of expensive as hell metal, but also just simply to take control of it, expect greed and corporations to play a role.
2. [B]Why the fuck does the Protagonist become a Na'Vi?[/B]: He doesn't, TECHNICALLY, become one, but rather remote-controls it (yeah, I thought he became one instead of controlling it like, well, an avatar.)
3. [B]Is he the only one that is an Avatar?[/B]: No, there is a woman and apparently two other men, so it's not like he's the only one.
4. [B]Why did he become an Avatar?[/B]: He became one for DIPLOMATIC reasons, to try and get the Na'vi tribes to support the humans, not only that, but the only reason he wants to do it is to get a procedure to fix his legs.
5. [B]Why do they support the Na'vi?[/B]: Basically, they (as in the group) find out more about the Na'vi but the commander, the big burly guy in the trailer, goes batshit and decides it's better to just try and kill all of them.
Basically the new trailer showed an awesome fuckton of win in terms of fighting, I mean the action looked so crisp and fresh, think Americans vs. Indians, IN SPACE!
Sounds like some mass effect shit
furry jokes aside, this could be a good movie. I just hope it doesn't become too much eye candy and not enough awesome.
