James Horner doing the soundtrack? Awesome :D
All of James Cameron's movies are in my favorites, I can't wait to see more of this movie as time goes by
A movie about an Ex-Marine who leads a colonization effort against a Planetary Conscious? Awesome.
Sounds fucking epic.
Awesome, concept artist Ryan Church is working on this.
What can I say about this epic moment? :holy: all I can say!
That's some fucking budget.
Sounds like it should be epic. I hope I'm not disappointed.
Now all he has to do is make a movie of Fallout, or better yet Halo... Only Director who could pull it off, in my opinion.
I've been waiting for this one for a while.
gives me a boner looking at it.
gives me a boner looking at it.
I know, the movie looks like it will win big time. Wait, are you talking about the Alien?
This is looking pretty darn fantastic. Thanks for linking me to all the info.
Avatar isn't anime
does that say believe it or not or believe it or rot
Avatar isn't anime
well i can't change it to cartoon due to title length limits, so whatever. it doesn't matter you still know what i mean.
does that say believe it or not or believe it or rot
probably 'not'
Is it December yet?
I'm still waiting for the trailer. Sherlock Holmes just got a trailer put out, and it comes out weeks after Avatar, and not only that, Avatar was original going to be released this weekend before getting delayed to december for more post-production time. The trailer has got to be coming soon.
Avatar isn't anime
Yeah it is. It's drawn in the very same style. Also, what's the big damn deal about this movie? There's virtually no details out at all.
well i can't change it to cartoon due to title length limits, so whatever. it doesn't matter you still know what i mean. probably 'not'
No, it says "Believe it or rot." The movie is supposed to take place on a jungle-esque sentient planet in the middle of attempted colonization via humans, thus the name.
James cameron made that one fantastic movie for his debut right? What was it? True lies? Don't think so... Titanic? No that wasn't it... Terminator 2? Nope not it either... Nope, for his first film he released: Piranha Part Two: The Spawning About deadly flying fish.
*Poast*
Holy-grease-and-gobblers captain! Epic sounding film.
This movie sounds interesting, though strange. I hope for his reputation sake and for me, a big movie-goer, it's a good movie. Sounds like it could have some really inspirational and revolutionary filming styles and stuff. Great, now I'm hyped for Mass Effect 2 and Avatar... P.S. I also though James Cameron was dead... P.S.S Neville Paige has some awesome shit.
Somebody should actually try to make a gigantic war movie a la Tropic Thunder (but serious) [editline]04:24PM[/editline]
Yeah it is. It's drawn in the very same style. holy shit this is gonna own
Somebody should actually try to make a gigantic war movie a la Tropic Thunder (but serious)
The Longest Day.
Also, what's the big damn deal about this movie? There's virtually no details out at all.
Except everything in the first post of this thread. Which is more than enough to give you an idea of why there's so much hype for it.
James cameron made that one fantastic movie for his debut right? :words: Nope, for his first film he released: Piranha Part Two: The Spawning
Not really, no. His first real movie was terminator, he directed and wrote that one on his own. He barely did anything at all with Piranha, I wouldn't really call Piranha his movie. Shit sounds like this is going to be big. All his previous works have been amazing.. I just hope it can match them.
Sounds like the new 2001: A Space Odyssey to me, in terms of how it will impact the movie scene.
Sounds like the new 2001: A Space Odyssey to me, in terms of how it will impact the movie scene.
2001 was fucking awesome. And it was directed by Stanley Kubrick. Turns out that the sound of the chorus played during the monolith scenes was actually just a recording of the sounds emanating from Stanley and the footage when put in the same room. Scientists have analyzed the sound and found that 90% of it stretches into an as of yet unheard of "awesome spectrum".
