Just got home from watching it again, in 2D, becuase 3D was sold out >:(
Sounds like pretty much every professional review of the film I've read.
Which reviews?
I saw it in 2D a few days ago and I saw it again today in 3D.
I think I came a little.
Theoretical science ≠ hard science, bro.
Not sure how you could even make that mistake.
Actually, everything about project valkyrie is plausable.
Just not about how we would obtain all of the anti-matter needed.
Sort of reminded me at times about the American Indians.

Until it can actually be tested, Plausible = Theoretical
Come on. Use your brain.
It's not that difficult to figure out.
the movie was good and I would totally fuck the na'vi chick

Cameron should've made a cameo as another Controller.
actually the movie is in 25fps 3D, so 60 hz is just fine.
fps is not the same as hz.
You need 60hz for each eye to make the stereoscopic effect work without giving any strain to the eyes, that's why the 120hz is the norm for 3D content.
When I saw the trailer for it, I wasn't expecting anything good. I went and saw it anyway, and just the way everything is in 3D itself is amazing.
Great movie.
Another bit that had us laughing is when [sp]she first talks it's like a few grunts of broken English, and then moments later she is fluent in the language.[/sp]
Haha I noticed that too, first it was "dis sad, you no thank, they sad only...child sad stupid you". 10 minutes later it was "I respectably disagree to your inquiry, the war of 1812 was in my opinion deleterious to the nation's comprise".

Yeah, that was kinda weird. Might've been a lack of fore-sight on Cameron's part there.
"Okay, and queue the broken english... ...Uh, yeah, that's gonna get old really quick, let's just have the enlish NOT as broken, like hardly broken at all. What? Nah, we're already spent $200 million on this movie, the old shoots stay as they are."
How can it possibly be 10/10. Nothing is perfect.

Except me

Well, Jake learned the Na'vi language by the end, I would assume while he was being taught by Neytiri, he also taught her to speak English more fluently.
And then Grace was allowed into the village, and she used to have schools that taught the Na'vi, so its safe to assume she continued to teach them.

Actually she starts talking much more fluently as soon as she brings Jake to the tribe.
I burst out laughing when the space horse thing ran past on fire and nearly everyone in the cinema turned around and gave me a weird look.
The name in itself is a massive joke. I burst out laughing and made the entire audience give me funny looks when I heard the name.
They gave you funny looks for a good reason.
It's not funny, it's retarded.
space horse lol
How can it possibly be 10/10. Nothing is perfect.
I think it means that the movie is just a perfect experience.
Not that it's flawless, nothing is, but I don't see anything wrong about people ranting it 10/10 if they enjoyed it so much. That's what movies are all about.
Literally just got back from watching it.
[editline]04:57PM[/editline]
It is awesome!!!
Actually she starts talking much more fluently as soon as she brings Jake to the tribe.
Hmm, good point, thats just a plot-hole then >_>
Well... I tried :P
No, she can speak English fluently from the start.
Someone mentioned the big cat monster doing the TREX roar from jurassic park. But did anyone else notice that when Jake is first learning about the horses, the sound they make is the velociraptor help call from jurassic park 3? The guys in the audio department must be big fans of jurassic park lol.

Hell yeah! I noticed both of those, being such a massive fan of JP. It was really weird to hear those noises.
Reminds me of how in D9 all of the weapons resembled those from Halo - Peter Jackson couldn't be bothered to buy new props apparently.
I watched it in French, and well, the Na'vi chick spoke French perfectly from the start to finish. Might have to watch it in English to check on the broken language.

The English they speak in the film is pretty perfect, but with a strong accent (apparently blue aliens that take 6 years to reach sound like they are from Morocco).

I noticed the velocirapter sounds, and a few others. Although I can't remember the TREX one.

English was understandable. Not broken though.
