Even if it is heavy it's not like the fucking mech sits on jake lol. It tries to hit him with one of it's arms which weighs significantly less in respect to the rest of it's body. Most of the energy was transfered to the giant switchblade jake was holding anyway. You'd know this if you actually watched the movie instead of trying to find flaws.
This is now how physics work.
Is the only 3d that it's using being shown with those fancy hipster 3d glasses? Because my friend and I are thinking about going to a 3d showing tonight but it wouldn't be fun with those oddly colored, cheap paper glasses.
No they use these now days:
Awesome. Now I can look like Buddy Holly at the movies too! :v:
No they use these now days:
That's what I meant by fancy hipster shades. Although I got that joke from another picture where they looked a little bit different. Thanks though.
We got massive things, like super big, they steal em off me tho at the end. [editline]08:37PM[/editline] Loving the Pocohontus steal too..haha
James Cameron wrote the script 15 years ago. According to Wikipedia
Pocahontas is the main protagonist of Disney's 1995, thirty-third animated feature, Pocahontas,

James Cameron wrote the script 15 years ago. According to Wikipedia
:iiam:
That doesn't mean it doesn't help if the director makes an effort to creatively solve the physics problems instead of simply ignoring them.
I think he explains most of it in the original script, but it took up to much time, so they cut it. (along with many other things)
James Cameron wrote the script 15 years ago. According to Wikipedia
OH MAH GAWD DISNEY DONE STOLDED JIMMIE'S FILMSTORY!!!! ...because of course Disney invented the story/legend of Pocahontas. I am totally gonna boycott Mickey now. i think he's trying to say that it didn't rip off of pocahontas like what everyone else is saying
i think he's trying to say that it didn't rip off of pocahontas like what everyone else is saying
Yeah, that's what I was trying to get across. Disney didn't steal it and neither did Cameron since I doubt he would let them see his script.
I saw Avatar in 3D but the theater was so packed my 2 friends and I had to sit in the bitch seats all the way on the bottom corner of the theater. The angle was so bad that when looking through 3D glasses, some stuff was warped and I think I would have enjoyed the movie a lot more if I could see it again from better seat, but I digress. This was a great movie that is a must-see, even people who aren't sci-fi fans. It has a little bit of something for everyone.
I don't see why people are complaining over the name 'unobtanium'. It's a perfectly logical name, there's more to it than just a cheesy name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unobtainium I would rather prefer a somewhat joke of a name like unobtanium compared to some other made up crap. At least unobtanium is a name that sticks in your head, unlike something like Diheliumsulfate-3.
If you can't summarize lengthy shit down into something digestible you're a shitty director, particularly when you're working with something that YOU wrote.
Come back when you've directed multiple movies that have grossed over $1B each.
Come back when you've directed multiple movies that have grossed over $1B each.
Boom.
Come back when you've directed multiple movies that have grossed over $1B each.
'cause only people who have done something can offer criticism of it. That's why Steven Spielberg is the world's best movie critic, right? :downs:
James Cameron wrote the script 15 years ago. According to Wikipedia
And both movies are just Dances With Wolves, which came out 20 years ago.
This isn't the worst movie to come out this year. New Moon is.
OMG Dances With Wolves, The Last Samurai, Avatar, Lawrence of Arabia, Pocahontas! !!!
This isn't the worst movie to come out this year. New Moon is.
I didn't see that or Transformers 2 but 2012 was pretty bad
I didn't see that or Transformers 2 but 2012 was pretty bad
I assure you, they are all worse than Avatar.
who rated me disagree?
AVATAR WAS FUCKING AMAAAZZZINNNNGGGGG OH MY GOOODDDDD THAT LAST BATTLE SCENE WAS JUST TOO MUCH EPIC FOR ME TO HANDLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.. And when the tree fell, i was like HOLY FUCKKK. and when jake came riding in on that big ass bird (i forgot what it was called) i was like YEAAAHHH HE CONQUERED THAT CRAZY BIRDDDD
the world that james cameron puts you in is incredible.
Didn't someone mention earlier in the thread something about how they mate using the hair bond thing. What's the difference between riding a bird and having sex with it?
Didn't someone mention earlier in the thread something about how they mate using the hair bond thing. And the movie doesn't show Jake and Neytiri connecting their hair, I think it'll be in the extended edition.
Didn't someone mention earlier in the thread something about how they mate using the hair bond thing. What's the difference between riding a bird and having sex with it?
Maybe there isn't one :geno:
You don't stick your cock in it. And the movie doesn't show Jake and Neytiri connecting their hair, I think it'll be in the extended edition.
Who said anything about a cock? I'm talking about hair to hair contact.
Who said anything about a cock? I'm talking about hair to hair contact.
I think he's saying that the hair to hair contact just creates a very deep bond but you still use your cock to actually do the sexual part of mating. So you wouldn't stick your cock in your bird thingamajig.
