I think he's saying that the hair to hair contact just creates a very deep bond but you still use your cock to actually do the sexual part of mating. So you wouldn't stick your cock in your bird thingamajig.
Well...If you're really lonely...
Can you forcefully connect hairs with a female na'vi, just like taming a dragon? Or is blue cat rape out of the question here?
Can you forcefully connect hairs with a female na'vi, just like taming a dragon? Or is blue cat rape out of the question here?
You could, but then she would smother you because it bonds you.
bad story, fucking amazing CG.
'cause only people who have done something can offer criticism of it. That's why Steven Spielberg is the world's best movie critic, right? :downs:
You're not even criticizing the movie though, you're like mad at the movie and Cameron for no reason.
Awesome Unfortunately, I didnt see it in 3d, as my mum has a heart problem, and cant get a high pulse But o well
Just saw it a couple of days ago; pretty amazing.
Ive seen it twice, heading for the third this weekend, tis freaking awsome. Ive only seen it multiple times tho because o big family and awkward friends...lol
Saw it in 3d. Outlook on life was changed.
Thought i'd say the music in the movie with the atmosphere makes it really breath taking to watch. It's so freaking good. I want a giant tv with the best quality in 3d and the best sound system when it comes out on DVD ! If only i could have the same experience at home.
It was one of the best movies I've seen in my life.
Saw it in 3d. Outlook on life was changed.
So... what? You're gonna be nice to furries now or not disrespect Native Americans? I really don't understand how a film this dull in terms of plot and character development can change your outlook on life. One of the few films that inspires me to do anything is The Last Samurai, not because it's an especially good film but because the Samurai were an inspiring people.
people should always be nice to furrys, what did they ever do to hurt anyone?
Oh god, are you really asking this?
Take Lord of the Rings + Star Wars = Avatar (tho far more epic than those two combined) It's one of the best movies I've ever seen, and I've seen pretty fucking much.

The LOTR music for example, that's something that really gives me a kick everytime I hear it. While the Avatar soundtrack, well, flat and generic in my opinion.
Would actually watch a sequel, despite my naysaying.
How on earth could there be a sequel? Bad-guy comebacks never work, and anything else would probably be boring
It was one of the best movies I've seen in my life.
This is why I hate this movie. Because it is a thoroughly mediocre film with good special effects that kids who don't know shit about cinema are saying is one of the best film ever made.
Pfffff. They could just used After Effects. Or paint - you know, you can draw anything with pixels... One by one. Sure it would take 8000 years but it's cheap!
I made a film for a school French project once, one part included a lightsabre duel between a divorcing couple. I ended up drawing in the lightsabres frame by frame in GIMP - I got about five seconds into the sequence before giving up. Worst thing was I discovered a program to do it automatically a few days after I'd finished... [editline]07:14PM[/editline]
This is why I hate this movie. [editline]07:38PM[/editline]
What really bugs the shit out of me is that James Cameron clearly now thinks he's the greatest film writer of all time. If he wasn't such a smug, arrogant motherfucker I might not hate him and all his new work so much.
And then I read this and realise that you aren't actually basing your opinions on anything more than how much you hate James Cameron. Besides, who cares, I liked it, a whole load of other people liked it, it immersed me in another fantasy world and it was fun and extremely enjoyable. Posting in this thread makes sense if you enjoyed the film and enjoy talking about it, or if you didn't and wanted to offer your opinion, but where's the logic behind coming to a thread for a film you hate and continually posting just to call the people who liked it idiots?
Is it just me or did Neytiri look different throughout the film? I'm not talking about looks in terms of facial expression I'm talking about like her face in general. I don't know, during the trees of voices scene she looked very human with smaller eyes while when we first see her she looked very alien. Keep in mind while WETA did most cgi scenes, some scenes were outsourced to ILM. It is never specified which scenes though.

Also, as far as I could tell, there weren't any furry creatures in Avatar.
Haven't seen The Last Samurai. Also, as far as I could tell, there weren't any furry creatures in Avatar.
It was a joke. And regardless of whether you have seen The Last Samurai or not.. I still don't get how Avatar can change your outlook on life.
It was a joke. And regardless of whether you have seen The Last Samurai or not.. It was a good movie, gives you a different perspective on some things but it doesn't make me want to change me life. What am I gonna do? Go find the nearest military operation and try to lead an uprising?

This came to my mind today, after I saw Tarzan today again (lol childhood memories). A Tarzan movie with the technique used in avatar would be awesome. The jungle, the liana swinging, the gorillas and all that stuff.

And yes, anyone who says that something like "Transformers 2" is a good film is automatically an idiot and should be ignored and/or punched in the dick. I think this was done intentionally to make her look freaky/alien in the beginning, and then to try to turn her into a sex symbol as the movie progresses. Cameron has said some things that suggest this, and more information about this may come out when they release the Director's Cut/Special Edition DVD.

Maybe he hasn't seen a lot of movies. Seriously? Just because you don't like the movie doesn't mean that others have to agree. A movie isn't shit just because you say it is. Chill out. Everyone in this thread knows you didn't like it and now you're going from beating a dead horse to trolling.

My problem is with people who say it's the "BEST FILM EVAR!!!" when it clearly ain't.

I'm pretty sure it's not the same movie for everyone.
