I mean, they made the WHOLE movie inside of a studio, everything, yet, when I think back of the movie I see all those trees and mountains. Pretty fucking incredible.

Saw this the other day in 3d. Was a good movie, but way too long, and very overrated. I'd say it was good but not as groundbreaking as it's made out to be. And the 3-d really gave me the shits sometimes. Was good in places, but kind of ruined the way it looked when that piece of ash floated towards you.. then disappeared as it left the screen. I laughed when they were looking at those photos, and the photos were in 3d too.

So what's the point of sequels. Spoilers? And theories. [sp]Humans might return, learn more ancient history of the Na'vi though flashbacks and present time, Jake somehow has problems when his Na'vi forms starts to deform, and has to use a human body to survive. Making pregnant Neytiri afraid she will lose the one she loves. Maybe a human enemy will try to infiltrate though an Avatar to spy on Jake and Neytiri, and spy as Jake by using his DNA, so at least he can have some nemesis/rival. It could be Neytiri centric, and more based around the history of Pandora. Jake's story was likely over in the first movie. I know people still think there is some matrixized theory that nothing is real, and Jake still is in a wheelchair. And the planet is deserted, yeah, whatever the fuck is going to happen, who cares. I'm sure Norm and the other scientists discover more mysteries of Pandora. As their choice to stay, and let the others in exile. Parker Selfridge will have to play some big part in returning, since he was the corporate admin for RDA mining, guess he will come back to finish the job, or send someone else in his place, and you kinda want to know what Avatar 3 would be like. Wonder how James will pull this off, and give us new plot twists, yeah, I realise, they were on a moon, and not on Pandora throughout the whole film. In the end, I bet the humans who choose to stay, will make a choice to become Avatars to be accepted, and yeah, apparently, that General Miles may make a return, as the film's bad guy again, due to some plot twist involving clone DNA. WTF. Though I'm sure Jake will become the leader in the end game.[/sp] And that's about it.

Watched it some hours ago, its a mix of matrix, assassins creed, pocahontas, indians, fcking voodoo, Warcraft, Crysis and ehrm, dont know. not bad at all, there are worse movies out there but the hype isnt really nessecery and the 3d effects aint so good ^^ my point is wtb a walker/onemanrobotsuit(?) srs, i need one, these kicks ass, like in Battlefield and Final Fantasy... did this weirdo played all these games?

I went to see it earlier tonight. The movie itself was decent, but the 3D spoiled it for me. It still feels very much like a gimmick and it completely ruined some of the close up shots with that horrible depth of field.
