JESUS CHRIST THOSE THOSE THINGS :byodood: /caps
I know!! I could almost forgive her for being a weeaboo :q:
OP, tell me what you think about this weeaboo. Be honest.
Honest
Japanese people speak Japanese.
Now that's something you don't learn everyday
Damn right mother fucker
Now that's something you don't learn everyday
excellent use of grammar
And thus, the OP has come to hate weaboos for the very same reason as I do. But seriously, I lived in Japan for two years, and it pisses the fuck out of me when people imagine it to be some kind of paradise with ninjas and robots and cute shit. I meet people who are like "OMG I wanna go soooo bad it must be so cool ^_^" but nobody ever seems to take into account that it is a real place, with poverty and crime and pollution. (Poverty and crime ARE low, though)
Not all Asians are from Japan.
Not all Asians are from Japan.
You are on a informative roll today. I bet you get all the glasses wearing ladies with ponytails.
Japan is a body of land surrounded on all sides by water.

Teach me Japanese, OP.
Go take a class or:

Go take a class or:
But you are half-Japanese. And I live in Switzerland, the whitest of the whitest.
It is said in Japan things fall up due to them living near the southern hemisphere. Additional data is is still to be aquired.
OP, tell me what you think about this weeaboo. Be honest.
Kill it with fire
Also, OP, I have a tube of Wasabi, just in case you want it.
I say you just kill those faggots.

One of the fun things about watching it I think is trying to discern what is purely the deranged fantasy of the writers and what is - at least somewhat - representative of life and culture. And it seems reasonable enough, a place like any other, except some of them go to concerts with artists who don't exist but wtf. It's also interesting because a lot of memes and internet culture flows from animé and places like futaba and nicovid. But beyond that I have no real interest.

Although their voices comes directly from the artists rather than doing it like microsoft text-to-speech.
your point sir?
Is that Tewi in your avatar?
i don't have any goddamn idea She gives all of our circle of friends names of countries in the manga and the person with the nickname doesn't often match the character in it at all. For example, from Wikipedia (bolded possibly the most important part but it's all the same): that does not describe me and i don't really think it describes any real person anywhere
I don't know, man. I carry my precious metal faucet pipe everywhere I go.
Weeabos don't actually care about Japan, they care about the Japan they see in anime. That's why they won't go to, say, a Hokusai exhibition or learn Japanese, but they will buy Pocky at over inflated prices and squeal with childish delight at Sailor Moon. They're not so much emulating Japanese culture as creating a parasitic sub culture that does not generate original content but appropriates certain aspects of Japanese culture.
I don't know if it's just me, but does anyone have the urge to learn a new language after reading this thread?
Have you been to the Gunma prefecture? I see that the area has good mountains for racing. I'd really love to learn some basic Japanese so I could visit, this stuff looks like a ton of fun.
yeah I'm serious, they stop around 3 months I was playing Sven coop the other day and internets friend kept asking me translate a bunch of songs and I said, "wtf happened?" and he just said he merely stopped
Yeah dude, I hate that shit too, I'm really into Japan and shit, (we dont have japanese classes at my school) and I hate it when people are all Kawaii and desu and shit like that, I would never ever do that! 1). It's embarassing. 2). Why speak parts of the language if you can't construct a full sentence?
I do have my own weeaboo moments though. I sometimes replace "yes" with "hai" and I sometimes say Itadakimasu real quiet-like (only because it's fun to say)
I'm in a Japanese class right now. My teacher is great, so I'm learning it very quickly. It's pretty easy, I'm a second year Japanese student. The Sister City of the town I'm living in is in Japan, so I thought it would be a good idea to learn it. It would probably look good on a resume too. Weeaboos bring down the class though. We have to go a bit slower at times and learn less because they don't even pay attention. My teacher kicks out the students that fail the class, so it's not too bad.
I wish my school had Japanese. Our school only has 2 languages. Spanish and French At least there are people in my school that say "kawaii" and other stuff like that. There are some people going around saying "chi lo lo" and other random shit and other random jibberish saying it's Japanese. They look so retarded. They almost brag about it too.
