I have no desire to ever put forth the effort to learn a language with such a confusing and backwards sentence structure.
What I find amusing is that weeaboos think they can put a few months of study into a language as complex as Japanese and be able to carry on a conversation. Much less, that someone would be interested in learning a language for no real reason, and probably never have the chance to even use it except sparsely.

I have quite a strong interest in learning Russian, as a lot of communities I deal with do not speak English very well, but primarily Russian.
Many websites I use on a daily basis are in Russian.
I can stumble my way through it usually, but it would be nice to know it fluently.

I used to live in Japan, and I worked in a school teaching English. In that school at least, it was a mandatory course, if I remember correctly the headmaster said it was required because they were the closest school to the Air Force Base.
Anyway, it is incredibly difficult to translate or teach to another person.

weaboos are attracted to anime because anime is very emotionally immature. a lot of it is very sexual and violent but it has the emotional depth of something for 8 year olds, and since most weaboos are very VERY immature for their age there's a bond between them. and since there's very few fandoms that are predominantly open to people like that, weaboos are a pretty big group

I dunno about your schools, but at mine the people who take Japanese class are pretty awesome. Hell, a lot of them aren't even weeaboos, they just like the language.
(Most of the weeaboos take Japanese I, realize it's one of the absolute hardest fucking languages to learn, and get the hell out and go take Spanish or something instead for their foreign language credit.)

I'd love to learn the language. That way I can look awesome cause I know how to speak 3 languages AND I can tell weaboos to eat it. They'll be like, "Kawaii desu desu~~" and I'll say something in Japanese and they'll be stumped and I'll feel awesome.

This reminds me of the time I tried learning my culture's language. It was a pretty awesome language and all, but daayyyuummm was it hard. There were sounds I had to speak that I didn't even know existed. Eventually that class ended and I can only remember a few phrases, but atleast I learned how to read within a month. And I have a cousin who can speak fluently who tries to teach me. It was all worth it though.
