I'm going through the trailer over again to see if I can spot any familiar characters in that big train station place. It's hard since they're all so tiny and far away...
Also I'm sure Disney can get away with the more violent game references if they keep them far away and at a distance, like in the train station.
Overall this movie gives me a "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" kind of vibe, ecxept with video game characters. Which isn't a bad thing at all.
Oh shit, this is a dream come true. How did Disney even get the rights to use these cameos (I mean, seriously, fucking Bowser? Damn!).
And this is just the trailer! If they are smart, they will have more cameos up their sleeves for when the movies actually released... my bet is this was just to show that they know what the fuck they are doing and that there are more of those sweet cameos to come (please, god please, let someone from TF2 make an apparence).

Anyways, I don't know why he's considered a bad guy in the movie when he has never been a bad guy in any of the games.
I usually am not into kids movies but I can tell this movie is going to be super kick-ass. I just wish they made a movie like this when I was younger.

Zangief started off as a bad guy (working for Shadaloo) when he was introduced in Street Fighter 2.

Not quite, its a game called 'Hero's Duty' that they invented for the film. I don't think its a HL2 shout out.
