I have a $600 prebuilt that runs Arma 2 fine on medium. You don't need anything really excessive for Arma to be playable and look decent.
I got a i5 2500k, 8gb ram and gtx 560ti, i can play medium-high at 1080p at 35 fps, or less.
After watching "The Days Ahead" the video in the OP is nothing like the actual mod. The zombies are spazzy and run through walls and every other obstacle like they weren't there.

That being said, when you force Arma 2's collision checking to cycle through several thousands of entities per frame, stuff like that does tend to happen. It's made worse by multiplayer and the insane amount of units active at one time - Undead will do it too.
To fix it, just have less clients and less zombies. Games are still amazing fun with only 100-200 zombies and 3-4 players.
I've had Arma 2: CO for a while now, but haven't touched it because I have absolutely no friends who own it...
Every zombie game should be like this
I only got Arma 2 :(
You need OA to run dayz right?

There is another good mod i use as well and it's for Arma 2.

Incredibly dumb post, but can anyone put a mission for The Undead mod? Clearly the editor doesn't like me
