Next time, would you let under 18 come, so long as we have soft drinks in the bars that ask for ID and only have half pints where they will serve an under 18 year old (or is it stricter in england, in Wales I can get served so long as the group has a few over 18 year olds and we don't get too drunk), or is that defeating the whole purpose of it?

A lot of places have bouncers who ID on the doors. No ID, no entry even if you would have soft drinks
