Well, I MS painted what I hope is an acceptable version of Jodie. I mean, it's not like he's DOING anything, I don't see what the hassle is.

It seems quite a lot like a hoax, though the picture of the boy is pretty scary.

Couple of things I find weird/scary about it. Look at that couple. Do they honestly look like the kind of people who get up one day and decide 'lets scam the entire world by writing a bullcrap story about a haunted house..oh and we have to move into the house first so it sounds legit'. They moved into this nice house, so they must have been secure financially.And then to leave the house without taking all their stuff...even if they did make a lot of money off the story they would have left behind a lot too, it's a pretty big house. Why a red eyed pig? Why not a ghost of one of the victims? a PIG? That picture. Look at it. It look like a photoshop, and that's the only picture the kid appears in. If you were going to hoax it, why stop at one?

My mom lived up the street from the place when she was young. And once, while she and her friend were having a sleep over, they saw somebody in the window, just a face. And there was nobody home.

I live roughly half a mile away from the house. I live in a hamlet named Copiague which resides next to the hamlet of Amityville.

The movie of this fucking freaked me out, especially at the end when the zombies come out in the basement. :v:

I spent years trying to get the image of the kid staring at the camera at the stairs, I watched a documentary about it Halloween night when I was small and it scarred me forever. Damn you for showing it again!

It's a good horror story i don't believe it actually happened all the ghost stuff and voices most of it is fake anyway but the fact the murderer heard voices in his head spells out Mentally ill

The 2005 film of this scared the shit out of me. I think some bits of this might be true but probably hyped up a lot and made much worse than it ever was. I certainly would never go there. Ever.

That photo with the boy on the staircase freaks the fuck out of me. The house looks scary as well.
