Im the Defeos fourth cousin and my grandma used to go over to their house all the time. The family story is the Defeo family had huge problems. Ronald senior was an abuser and the kids were spoiled. My grandma remembered always being jealous because they had money because they had mafia connections. The family has no doubt that Dawn took part in the killings. Dawn blamed their mother for not stopping the abuse. There were no voices or talking walls Dawn and Ronnie were on acid. To the outside world they were the perfect family involved with the community and even the Christianity thing was just to keep a good image. Apprently there are some really strong opinions about the Lutz's in my family. They cant believe anbody would set up a hoax that large to make money off my families deaths.

I believe it, I lived in a house like that! and if one hasnt had that experience, they find it hard to belive, I lived there with a family who had 8 kids, plus my son, me and my ex, long story, but verrry true! If I could find that family today (16 years later) they would have the same story to tell, they too ran with just the clothes on their back, there was also an incident, kind of a mystery that happened in that house before we moved in there. I also failed to mention that we moved out first, then 2 weeks later the family told us to take whatever we wanted after they took off, we went over there, and neither us, nor the neighbor could be in that horrible house for longer than 5 minutes, we still felt that evil that had so taunted us when we lived there, like it was still watching us, ready to suck us back in. For a long time we wouldnt go past that house on that street, and I hope the hell hole burnt down, so none else would have had the same experiences us and that family had! The scene in the original A-Horror movie when the little boy fell down the basement stairs, that happened to the kids, they were being thrown down the stairwell, getting concussions, waking up screaming in the dead of night saying they saw monsters, the doors would slam in a closed in house, there would be loud footsteps, voices, the creepy man in black that came to the door and seemed to stare right through us as if he were dead, and the list goes on, including the evil entitys hating kids and seemed to focus a lot of its attention on the couple who had the 8 kids, horrible things were hapening between them, not to mention all of the other creepy stuff. So, before you laugh? think again, I believe the Lutzs felt kind of pressured in a way, but dont doubt their story, since Ive been there.

ummm read the court transcripts, review the evidence. There was absolutely no evidence that Dawn participated in any of the killings. She was a victim just like the rest. Blaming her is pathetic & just shows your ignorance of the evidence. Plus I doubt that you are even related.
