Okay, tomorrow morning... Ocean Machine-Biomech is being played :mmmsmug:
but yeah start with Terria, Ki(I think you'd like this one a lot, very bluesy), and Ocean Machine. Good starter albums. Except maybe for Ki but I'm recommending that as a starter as I know you'd like it.
hyperdrive is kind of cool at the moment, but addicted and universe in a ball isn't all too good

Chronological is interesting because it starts with City by Strapping Young Lad, which is one of the most pissed off metal albums ever, and leads up to albums like Terria and Hummer, which are ambient and drone respectively.
Honestly it's pretty much all good, Hummer, Physicist, SYL and Alien are arguably more fans only but otherwise anything is good

Find out their birthday, organise a party that isn't for them. And don't invite them.
When they walk in they'll see the party and they'll be all "Oh wow all this for me?"
And then they'll see the banner that says 'Not for you' and they'll ask "what, isn't this my birthday party"
