i'm thinking about making a popping video, but I've been busy with my shirt designing and game channel. Oh and it'll have to be a choreo because I can't freestyle and look good lol
Make sure you post it here :swoon:
I was directed to this thread by Falco. I didn't know this thread existed. I don't dance competitively or seriously I used to go to classes but the school went bust :saddowns:

Fucking awesome, another popper :D
Alright, we're not through with Holland's Got Talent :(. Well, ce n'est pas problèm! I'mma train extra hard from now on. Train backflips today, then I'll start on breakdancing
I like dancing, meaning the actual dancing aka the more classic dances like tango, waltz etc. In Finland we have this thing called Elders' Dances (vanhojen tanssit) where students learn many different dances and then perform those to other students and parents. I loved it and I still remember all the steps for all the 13 different dances we learned. My favourite is salty dog rag though, I like the faster dances.
I also like to dance occasionally, but most of my good dance moves were invented on LSD and some techno minimal :)
Having a dance party at my school on Friday, to celebrate the end of school. Time to dougie.
(and shuffle, and tecktonik, and brisbane stomp, and dnbstep)

Did you say dougie? :frog:
It's ok if you do dougie though, I just hate you a little bit :3:

I'm gonna try ballroom dancing senior year. I actually tried Tango for a couple days but I got bored, probably because I tried it at a young age. Now I would probably enjoy it a lot more.

It's not like I do it seriously or anything. Dougie is a complete joke.
Step one of how to do the Dougie: Realize that you will look like an idiot unless everybody is black, drunk, high, or dead.
[editline]1st June 2011[/editline]
Step two: Arms across your chest? Good, do that for the whole day.
NOW YOU KNOW HOW TO DOUGIE.

Also, since I'm out of school time to practice for 4 hours a day :buddy:
So the thing at school was a total joke. Nobody brought music, except for my own, which was music to shuffle/ tecktonik to and nobody else danced except for me.
And I'm not going to dance anymore cause I have to take the SAT tomorrow. ):
ABDC ugh
Tried front flips. Ouch.
Twisted my ankle while shuffling.
Yay.
Pain day?
Pain day?
Didn't get hurt that much. Not even a bruise or getting the wind knocked out of me. More like just a couple red spots and scratches (I don't know how my wrist started bleeding).
Anyways, I'll try backflips and frontflips next week at the park. I realized I didn't use my arms at all for momentum. Also, I've heard you tuck your chest toward your legs, not the other way around. Is this right?
With front, yes. With backs, no. You do the opposite with backs, obviously.
Can't wait 'till next week! For now back to bboying.
after this week and next week and recovering from all the wounds from that bike crash, I'm getting back if i have motivation lol
Rago, I think I improved my front tuck. I landed on all fours instead of my ass most of the time :P. I got momentum and stuff, still need to work on tucking in though. I always forget. I just have to drill it into my head. Gonna do a bunch of tumbles and rolls tomorrow to get used to tucking in.

Shit, for real? Damn, I need to start on front tucks... Where do you train them? Also I feel like making another freestyle...
On grass. First time I did it (few days ago) was on a grass hill. It was like a slight bump. My friends and I thought it would be a good idea to start from a higher place. Not really a good idea.
I just do it at my local parks. Though I bet my "tucks/flips" are really not tucked in so to speak. I just happen to land on my legs somehow.

Doesn't it hurt when you land on your but? I think I'mma get a matress
No I land on my legs. Kind of like a crab/crouched position. Ass doesn't make contact.
Facepunch, teach me how to do a webster flip.

Yeah, but surely you didn't land the first time?
Yeah, but surely you didn't land the first time?
Yeah, he didn't land it the first couple times and fell onto his back the first couple times. Well, he was also doing it downhill, which made the drop a bit longer so I guess it kinda hurt him more.
