Woo weekend time to get back to practicing!
Stile. yes u CAn learnit.
Correct spelling please.
There's a lot of dance you can do in a club. It depends what the host/ dj/ club is playing though. A lot of clubs are having dubstep raves which are really gay and stupid, and you can really only dance to dubstep if you plan a dance for a song accordingly. A lot of other clubs will play mainstream/ electro and to that you can do Tecktonik, Housing/ Footwork, Liquid/ Digits, Melbourne Shuffle, and Hakken/ Gabber Dance.
Well actually in a club you dance however you want. There probably are only a handful of other serious dancers in there.

And a choreography with a friend of mine (lots of mistakes, we were to tired to make another vid)

I'm much better now than in the first video, I can do armwaves and my technique is better. I've also started to do some breakdancing and ballet.
Do you have any advice on how to do the robot-type popping stuff at the beginning of your first video? I'm terrible at it but would love to be able to do it.

It's called isolations. First off you have to tense your whole body. Then move a certain part of your body without moving any other body. When you stop, slightly jiggle that certain part and voila! You're a motherfucking robot.
Woo hoo I think my wrists are getting stronger! Good for breaking so there is less pain.

That's not me. Besides, African-Americans helped start breaking too, not just Jerking and Dougie.
I just quoted it because I thought the avatar was a good reaction picture. Hilarious, might I add.
Not because your avatar person was black.

I know. Can't wait to use it as a "I can____ to this" sometime.

i find it easier to actually focus on the rest of the body than to focus on the part that you're trying to move. If you try to freeze your body and get that part from point A to point B as consistent as you can, you shouldn't only think about that part. The whole body makes the impression, so focus on every part.

Guy on the right.
This is why ballroom dancing, breaking, popping, locking, and all other real dances will last a while.

yeah these ones will die after a while. But I think its because its an easy dance to dance to a beat thats not trance/electro etc, it gets that popular. It just promotes good times and shit, a dance not to be taken as serious as popping, locking or b-boying and that can make everybody dance and who knows, maybe some people that felt intimidated by real dancing may feel that the dougie (or any other ) is something to start with. That's why i don't hate them
Yeah like running man and some stuff. However, the electric slide and dances seen at weddings, although simple dances like jerking and Soulja, will be here for a while as well.
Guys, I just had an epiphany today.
Tecktonik makes any guy dancing look gay. And any girls 10x hotter.
Oh damn I better stop
Oh damn I better stop
I'm still dacnin tho :smug:
I was just joking Rice, I don't do Techtonik. Anyway, I'm gonna post a video anytime this week since I'm on Spring Break.

I wanna learn how to do their cool, hiphop shuffle. It's much better than the crappy techno alternative.

He taught you how to move your arms in a slow and retarded fashion across your chest?

Is that how you do it? I have honestly never seen the actual dance
Oh guys, I've signed me up with a friend of mine for Holland's Got Talent! We'll be receiving some help from a few proffesional dansers from So You Think You Can Dance (Dutch version). Our stage name is:'Extra-Ordinary'. We will be training very hard! Wish us luck!
Is there anyway to watch that in the US?
Youtube maybe

Only reason to learn Jerking, Dougie, or Cat Daddy is to be able to taunt those kinds of dancers before you dominate them with breaking, locking, popping, etc.

On the official website, I'll post the link if we make it to the live shows :D
