Cop Sucker Punches Former U.S Army Soldier for 45 Minute Response Time

yeh yeh, arrest the guy who made the 911 call and leave the robbers inside.
I wonder what the thieves were thinking when the guy who called 911 on them gets punched in the face outside the house they're robbing?
Wow I should become a cop so I can punch people in the face when I get my feelings hurt.
The kid came off as a little bit of a punk but I can see why he would be in a bad mood. The cops make me downright sick. That was pathetic, childish bullying. If I was the kid I'd try to see that the prick served time for it. A cop can't do shit like that.
Look at the cop acting like he has power over normal citizens
This is some fascist shit, take a DeLorean and get back to the 40s ya cunt, you don't belong here
Pretty much this. Cops are servants of the people's law, not a "Higher rank" than the people.
The guy kinda deserved it, he acted like he's tough shit just because he's a soldier.
You know, every week on FP I always see a "Genuinely really stupid post".
Dumb post of the week.
"We're not on your time"
Yes. You fucking are.
What's the first word in the VPD motto? What's the first word on your badge?
SERVE.
To SERVE and protect. Serve who?
The people. Serve him. Be on HIS TIME.

its like... hey, you're a cop, your job to show up early. That's why you have that alarm and bright lights on your car. So you can go fast and get places on time.
I hope they get fired to shit, the dude never stepped forward the cop did, he only complained formally.
"Are you done, are you finished, would you like to start over now, huh?" after you knocked someone the fuck out, who had been in a fight earlier too getting robbed or something.
Please just fucking kill yourselves so the police department don't have to do any paper work, just forget about them.

"maybe we should help that guy"
"Let's punch the victim of an attempted robbery because he complained about us taking our sweet-ass time to get to the scene."
I've sent them a mail.
If I lived in Vallejo I'd never call 911, I'd be too afraid. I'd rather deal with burglars, drunkards and things like that by myself than to have Vallejo PD visit me.
Also this is what I've found on your website. But it lacks explanations. Here's what you could use.
Our Goals
Deliver police services that satisfy citizen’s needs. (People of Vallejo enjoy being punched in the face and waiting 45 for the police after an emergency call. And VPD is happy to oblige.)
Develop, empower, and sustain a highly professional workforce (Professional police officers defuse heated situation by punching and choking people not by reassuring victims and keeping it calm or any other inefficient stuff like that)
Employ management systems that improve organizational effectiveness (Punching people in the face is more effective than responding to emergency in less than 45 minutes at maintaining positive attitude of citizens towards VPD)
Promote awareness and understanding between the Police Department and the people it serves (People of Vallejo need to learn that officers of VPD are superior humans and everyone else should be humble when talking to them, that VPD doesn't work on anybody's time and no matter what they do or say they are always right. Complaining about VPD officer's performance is equal to an assault on said officer and will be dealt with accordingly)
Foster a high quality culture throughout the organization (High quality culture is to be maintained only between officers of VPD not towards peasants that we supposedly protect and serve)
The cop that punches him sounds like Plinkett

he's also an asshole
Piece of shit cop
Seems like typical US Marine ego that the US Army soldier stood his ground against him.
So he calls the police because he was being robbed, and he gets arrested.
Lol!! Dude gets knocked out bro! Straight up choked and made a bitch dude!
Was the call during the robbery or after? If it was after, I can understand the delay. Still no reason to punch him though.

As it sort of mentions here: http://leaksource.wordpress.com/2013/02/01/vallejo-cop-punches-victim-us-soldier-for-complaining-it-took-them-45-minutes-to-respond-to-his-call/
Not only was this a year and a half ago, but the entire thing was joked about by the shift supervisor. That, and the fact that the Police Department is being extremely tight-lipped about all of this, kind of implies that he's more than likely not going to be fired.
He was reasonable. You would be pissed too if you called the police and they took 45 minutes. He wasn't even acting tough, he was just upset.
Bowing up and saying US Soldier represent, know who you're talking to... isn't a very good idea. Plus the camera on that dude does not show his hands, just his chest and face. For all we know he could have been tensing up.
Though the cop was a out of line though, then shit talking back was a bit excessive.
It was really just two assholes going at it.
What we have here is your usual Army vs Marine banter gone a bit too far, as it does when you're not currently fighting together

By your logic, isn't it three assholes going at it? Because the two cops sunk their knees into his chest with their hands on his neck.
here we see egotistical humans in their natural habitat.
I can't wait for a news update saying that this guy lost his job.
That would be grand.
Yeah this isn't gonna end well for the offending officer.
Wow not only do we got one egotistical prick in a video
WE GET TWO!
well cop is still in the wrong,Hes supposed to be professional.

Well one is a civilian, if he wants to act like a cunt that's his right. An officer of the law has to be above acting like an asshole for no reason.
What makes me more upset than the video is that probably nothing will happen to the cop unless it gains serious attention.
if u cant do ur job properly get another job, shit cop
fucking shit cops, giving other good cops a bad image....makes my blood boil

Except one of them is a cop and part of his job is to "protect and serve" which pretty much excludes being an asshole to people. What he should have done was to give the guy a reason why it took them so long, even if he'd bullshit him, tell him to calm down and that they are there to help. You know, defuse situation. But no, these guys don't take shit from anyone, lets punch the guy in the face.

Yes. The burglars chilled inside the house, had a few beers, watched the first half of the game in the hour it took for the owner of the house to call the police. Though as soon as they realized they were committing a crime and saw the police showed up, they then decided to sit at the windows and watch what happens.
Amazing logic.

Wow dude, if you think this is 'showing' anyone, it isn't. A video surfaces of two police officers going over the line and you write a paragraph degrading the entire police department of the city?
Who are you? Who is going to read this and take you seriously?
