I do some martial arts tricking, but I can't say I've done much fighting. Did a tiny bit of judo when I was little but I found it fairly boring.
Anyone else here involved in the tricking scene?

yeah a handy is $10, blowjob $40, no anal and dont cum in my mouth either
I moved to a new gym that is completely centered around MMA. They have two guys in UFC and I think the tour guy mentioned someone from bellator. And HOLY SHIT, all the knowledge. I learned more about grappling and striking in three hours there than I did half a year at my old gym.
I see Ryan Bader and CB Dollaway around my gym from time to time. The shit they do is ridiculous. I might take a few MMA classes when I gain some more weight.

No, he'll increase my monthly fee :(
Does anyone prefer the blast double leg takedown over the regular double?
Just wondering :v:

The alternative is you could just tease him about his loss to machida, but that might result in you getting put in the hospital I guess
Im darth bader, I'm going to rush in on a straight line on the UFC's most talented counter striker : )
Had no idea that my dojo is one of eight in the country to offer Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu.

As long as you're doing it strictly for the "arts" in Martial arts and not anything else.

It's not competitive and surely probably not the best to chose in terms of defense or 100% practicality, but that doesn't mean that it's not useful in any way.

That's the lie we tell ourselves when we get too deep in to training something that is shit or pretty close to it.
Judo is more useful*
Hell even wrestling is more useful*
Both being pretty specific martial arts that leave you not very rounded unless there is some crosstraining going on. It's getting rarer these days, but there are still dojos/gyms that don't crosstrain other aspects of fighting.
*Not calling out either art, more so just using them as examples for my point

Yeah, yeah, I agree with what you're saying. I wouldn't say it's shit though. If you want to be as effective as you can possibly you definitely need to cross-train. Aikijujutsu and judo have a lot in common, and in many ways they're the same. A lot of people who don't know much about martial arts don't realize that those fancy rolls and twists are to prevent them from getting their arm torn off (literally). I'm blessed to go to a dojo with amazing instruction though.
It depends on what works for you individually though. I like Aikijujutsu because it's very applicable in my career in law enforcement.
