Watchmen
Miller's Crossing. Seriously, how did...who... I can't really say anything, this fucking film is so good it almost hurts!
Mr. Bean's Holiday I agree it was a little drawn-out, but it was much better the second time i watched it. And the soundtrack is awesome
except that movie was extremely popular among people and critics.
correct, but it didn't even get an oscar nomination for best picutre, when IMO Children of Men was far higher in quality than The Departed, which got the oscar. Which may be unfair because Children of Men is my favorite film, but even so.
funny games so fucking powerful
Funny games just had me saying "cmon get to the good shit" throughout the entire thing, then the good shit never came and it ended. Michael Pitt is a great actor though.
District 9. It gets a lot of flack from people I know but for the budget it had (pretty low budget) it was pretty fucking amazing.
It has a low budget? I'd of never known had I not been told, they did well on a budget it seems.
Total Recall. Oh god is it a dream or not jesus fuck my head.
District 9. It gets a lot of flack from people I know but for the budget it had (pretty low budget) it was pretty fucking amazing.
It... wasn't low budget. That line only gets bandied around because in Hollywood, $30,000,000 (which was the film's budget) would buy a big-name actor or two and that's it. It's a big-time Hollywood movie, minus exorbitant actor's pays.
Fantastic Mr.Fox. That movie was so fucking funny.

Actually, Footballers can get hurt, Hollywood actors are god damn wimps in comparison. Smarter wimps.
How dare Primer not be mentioned.
Funny games just had me saying "cmon get to the good shit" throughout the entire thing, then the good shit never came and it ended. Michael Pitt is a great actor though.
thats the whole point of the movie to un-glamor-ify death and murder
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.
Black cat white cat. Not because it's under-rated, but because it's not known to many.
Uhhhh... Big Lebowski everyone? The critics thought it was a mediocre film when it came out Oh, and Evil Dead 2. It's the master of purposely making things badass, corny, and memorable.
primer is insanely mind bending but in such an ordinary way, it's fucking gold. like if you don't pay full attention to the movie you'd think it was just a bunch of geeks fucking around, hard to explain but it's like on the outside it seems extremely uneventful but really it's just constantly spilling out at you. really, a movie not for the common movie-goer [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] and requiem for a dream. maybe it did get what it deserved but i feel a strong connection to the film because i've been in the main character's positions (well i never whored myself but psychosis and drug addiction yeah). i just watched it again today and even though it was like my 10th viewing i was nearly brought to tears from the finale (the music helps lol)
Tron: Legacy It was the best thing ever! So intense and awesome.
Not the best cinematic masterpiece I've watched, but the single best Robert Downey Jr. movie for sure. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)
Tron: Legacy It was the best thing ever! So intense and awesome.
Pretty sure everyone agrees that Tron was awesome as fuck
Pretty sure everyone agrees that Tron was awesome as fuck
tron, yes, very good movie. tron 2 was utter shit [editline]26th August 2011[/editline] here's another one, A Scanner Darkly

Tropic Thunder, i found it hilarious
"shallow grave" never discussed but a great film
The Royal Tenenbaums. The use of cinematic techniques in it is astounding.
I really liked The Taking of Pelham 123 Okay, maybe not a cinematic masterpiece, but I really liked it
Rocky 4
The Mist, from the direction to the acting and obviously keeping the risky ending that I personally think wraps the film up beautifully.
I loved the movie, but the ending was retarded. They try to drive out of the mist, they run out of gas, and without any hesitation, or even trying to walk a few steps, he shoots everyone. I mean come on, give it a few minutes; wait until you can't wait any longer!
