Friend of mine said she hated Daft Punk because it was techno. :sigh:
"All that Daft Punk techno stuff is shit, it takes no talent what-so-ever" I wanted to punch that kid in the face so bad, It's one thing to not like a group, I can accept that as an opinion, but saying "it takes no talent" is just fucking stupid
People said the same thing about kraftwerk but they were pretty influential.
"Music is good." I wanted to beat the crap out of him.
"Music is good." I wanted to beat the crap out of him.
Music is too mainstream for you.
I don't oppose sampling, but this annoys me. Song in question is Major Lazer's ''Pon De Floor''.
"I Love Dubstep" NO YOU DONT YOU LISTEN TO FUCKING CHASE AND STATUS!!!! THAT ISNT DUBSTEP (-.-")
I swear to god I have no idea why I posted this. I must have been under the influence of something..
probably the same as when DnB was popular, I used to be a huge fan of DnB, and I also liked Pendulum, but half of the DnB fans have only ever heard In Silico. It did vex me a little.
Okay, so, I know the person who made the original thread IRL, so I have never felt the need to post in these threads for some reason, probably too overwhelmed with its success as well as my friend. Normally lately I wouldn't have even thought to post in here, but I heard something... I just had to. "Ozzy Osbourne sounds old" That got me. I was ready to post that, but it got worse "I would rather listen to singers that are like 20 years old, because I can relate to them more" Which is what she followed up with. I said: "You can't relate to a man who has been through everything that someone could really possibly go through, and more?" Okay, at this point, its somewhat forgivable. Or, at least it would be, if I didn't know that she was talking about those shitty Metal Core singers. Her: "Problems were different then than they are now. Things now are just so much more intense" I give up on everything.
She relates to younger singers more than to someone who's 60. Sure her explanation was pulled out her ass, but I don't see a problem with it.
"I heard music got an abortion on Christmas eve. What a fucking slut"
Who is this? Pink Floyd. Never heard of them, They suck. :(
Who is this? Pink Floyd. Never heard of them, They suck. :(
They didn't mean it, don't get sad. :)
"This shit is dated" He's talking about a Chuck Berry record that is 60 years old.... What kind of retardation are people being accustomed to being these days.
I hate it when people equate listening to old music to using outdated medical practices or something. It's art not a fashion statement.
I hate it when people equate listening to old music to using outdated medical practices or something. It's art not a fashion statement.
What if the song is a fashion statement?
Bellbottoms will come back one day ;_;
"Hey, what are you listening to?" "The Black Dahlia Murder" "What kind of music is it?" "Death metal" "I used to listen to that kind of music" "Really? What bands?" "Panic at the disco" fuck
No. no no no no no
I actually saw a comment on a video of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Sweet Home Alabama saying "I can't believe he stole this song from Kid Rock. Such disrespect." I was hoping so badly it was a troll.
Love people who think modern musicians don't rip off anything.
Aww dont confuse the new guy, he's just trying to fit in by posting a bit See Jamesworth in this thread some really strange stuff is said, so we just reply with sarcastic comments and have a laugh. It's good fun
"I outgrew metal." Bitch, please. If you "outgrew" metal, you were listening to it for all the wrong reasons. Also: "I fucking love death metal." "'Bout fucking time I found someone with similar taste in music. What d'you like?" "Aaaah Whitechapel, Suicide Silence. That shit" "HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGH"
I used to know someone that refused to believe that Shannon Noll covered "what about me" and wasn't the original writer...
Nearly everithing, that russians say about music IS FUCKING DUMB SHIT
"James Blake & Bon Iver's collab was shit, it was just some dubby bassling and owl hoots" fffffUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Well my friend listens to Blood on the Dancefloor. The singer is Bi. My friend announced he's bi a couple days ago. He started listening to them around a week ago as far as I know.
"Shinedown is awful." :really?: Also... "Van Halen had no memorable riffs" :lolwut:
I hate it when people find out I'm a big Judas Priest fan and they proceed to ask me if I'm aware of the fact that the frontman's gay. No, I was not aware of that, being the big Priest fan and all. It was also not well established that Rob Halford was the FIRST OPENLY GAY MAN IN METAL. They also say that gays and women can't make good music. Gender and sexuality have no bearing on the music. They really need to learn to music before they talk about it.
They really need to learn to music before they talk about it.
Why should they learn to music? Some people can't concentrate with music on.
