I loved the 8 hour gaps, It's meant so you can get 8 hours of sleep. Not minding the trip home depending on how long can be 5 minutes or 30 minutes. Then getting undressed and doing the final things before you get to bed. So that 8 hours just turned into 6 or maybe 6 and a half. Oh wait lets not forget getting up and getting ready for work! Bam 5 hours of sleep? But you can do it! It's for the customer!
fuck the customer
Depending on traffic, my drive to work can be up to 30 minutes...which on Black Friday is a given.
Then again, I volunteered to work 12 hours straight tomorrow so :v:
i like to look at Black Friday as a mini selection process.
There's actually one website in Denmark that celebrates (is that the word?) Black Friday, and they've got some pretty cray offers.
Note: They don't ship out of country, sorry non-Danish fellas.
Never been BF shopping-- might be worth it though. Sounds fun.
Black Friday shouldn't exist. It is terrible in every way.
I hate black friday as well, but this year I am hoping to for once take advantage of the day to either get an Xbone or a GTX 970. I feel really bad for my friend who works at sears and has to work on black friday, I might bring him some coffee or something that day.
Does Newegg have black friday deals?
Does Newegg have black friday deals?
Cyber Monday
I couldn't give two shits about Black Friday. Nothing you want is ever on sale.
Some of the video game highlights from Best Buy.
Where should I buy a Macbook Air.
Edit: And when?
Considering how few stores sell Macbooks it's probably better for you to wait until Cyber Monday. Best Buy's only deal is only $150 off.
Walmart ad just got posted, going to pull the deals from it. Should be good!
Does anyone know where PS3 Consoles might go on sale? I'm trying to find one cheap.
Ad it blurry as shit, but here is what I can find from the Walmart ad. Also it isn't that great.

And I guess that's it? The ad doesn't show everything that will be on sale, though.
[editline]12th November 2014[/editline]
Odd, when they make the ad a 2-page spread they drop the quality down about 50 notches. The single-page view is super high quality. Let me update this.
[editline]12th November 2014[/editline]
But seriously, I was hoping for some cheap games this year. Compare 2013's $15 or less games:

To 2014's $15 or less games:

And it isn't great. Maybe GameStop can offer a good deal but I sort of doubt it.
Why would I go get products when they can come to me
To experience the intense thrill of Black Friday riots
Any idea on what the price cuts at Dollar General will be like on things other soft drinks and cheetos? I've had my eyes on this fucker for a while but it's always JUST out of my price range.

The Ad is up. http://bfads.net/Black-Friday/Dollar-General/Ad
As Seen on TV stuff is Buy 1 Get 1.
[editline]13th November 2014[/editline]
Also if you want a good reason to not go to Wal-Mart, they are going to price-match Amazon.
http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/11/13/walmart-amazoncom-idUSL2N0T30WN20141113
Which means that every single checkout line will be backed up a mile with people trying to price match 50 things in their carts. Probably won't be going there this year.
Holy fuck thanks dude, anybody looking for a Vegetti this Christmas?
I've only gone out on Black Friday once before about 2 years ago. My 360 had finally expired and I went to the local gamestop to buy another one that came with skyrim and forza (4?). If Gamestop offers the same deal of getting a PS4 with GTA V and TLoU Remastered for $400 USD, then I'll go out again to get it. Which I'm sure they will to add competition. If not, then fuck it I might just go to Target. I'm scared o Walmart though. Most likely not worth my trouble.
Radioshack has some really cool stuff guys! We haven't officially posted our black friday (and Thanksgiving day) ad yet, but I looked over our employee version. For any deal on our front page of our ad, we'll price-match any competitor and knock an additional 10% off. I wish we were doing the whole ad since the front page has 50% of our branded products, but still a pretty good price-match for the beats on our front page. Come support your local Facepuncher! I know there's a few of us Radioshack employees here.
[editline]14th November 2014[/editline]
Actually we must've just posted it today!

They are selling new, last-gen, copies of Call of Duty: Ghosts for $17. They are also going to sell used, last-gen, copies of Call of Duty: Ghosts for $20.
I'm not sure if GameStop notices the issue.
i'm tempted to start a betting game oriented around how many people get injured this year on black friday. what do you guys think?

It gets worse as you go along.
most of the black friday deals really suck ass, they aren't actually changes really but just bigger font and flashier graphics and stress on the importance of the sale.
At micro center literally 90% of our "Black friday" deals were the regular monthly deals, We'd take 3-4 items per department and lower the price to just above at-cost and that be it.
Black Friday is dumb in the first place, and just yesterday I saw that there's going to be Black Friday sales here in Denmark. Like, WHY? We don't celebrate Thanksgiving, and it has literally zero cultural significance here in Denmark.
Okay, I do know why, but seriously this is so stupid.
I hate black friday and hate the idea of supporting something that makes families skip thanksgiving
That said
Holy shit do I want to do the walmart lineup for the XB1+$30 gc+ master cheif collection for only $329
That's literally exactly what I want for a ridiculously cheap price
Its the first time I've ever wanted to actually line up, especially since money is super tight for me right now. I know walmart is the ultimate "fuck this" in black friday, but as long as you line up within the first hour you are guaranteed to get it at that price even if they sell out.

As much as I love Thanksgiving I can barely stand being around most of my family just for how much noise they make. In previous years I would usually cook most of the meal and then save a plate while I either went out with friends or my girlfriend. It's pretty rude but it saves me a headache. This year, however, I can do neither of those things. Black Friday is the only thing stopping me from grabbing a box of granola bars and spending the week under an overpass.
