Austin, master race.
I'm not a Texan, but Austin is a fucking amazing place, I wish I lived there.
So, what's everyone's favorite Texan radio station? Being I'm in Austin it would be bob fm, it's a damn good station with relaxing music
So, what's everyone's favorite Texan radio station? Being I'm in Austin it would be bob fm, it's a damn good station with relaxing music
KLBJ in the mornings for sure, Dudley and Bob rock
So, what's everyone's favorite Texan radio station? Being I'm in Austin it would be bob fm, it's a damn good station with relaxing music
lone star 92.5 classic rock or maybe just jack fm though a lot of jack fm sucks so idk
KLBJ, and 101x also works for me. Bob FM is cool too i guess, as is KGSR. but KLBJ. I wish they played some music in the morning on KLBJ, i want to listen to thunderstruck while going to school damn it.
you guys all live in austin so i feel kind of outcasted, we don't get klbj or bob fm [editline]19th November 2012[/editline] all jack fm up here
I have no idea what KLBJ or BOB is. Never been near Austin.
For those of you in Austin, Jonathon Coulton is playing at the Parish on November 30th
i think bob fm is essentially jack fm for people who live in austin. then again, if you don't live in or near dallas you don't know what jack fm is either

Yep.
I listen to the shit on kiss fm. (mainly for the bobby bones show in the morning) And the rare occasion where my sister puts on 102.3 THE BEAT ugh. [editline]18th November 2012[/editline]
I'm sorry to hear that. South is better, sorry.
I like it up here in my suburb.
I listen to the shit on kiss fm. (mainly for the bobby bones show in the morning) And the rare occasion where my sister puts on 102.3 THE BEAT ugh.
I actually met lunchbox back during the 2004 olympics when i was like 8 or 9. He was right next to my neighborhood looking for someone to light a torch. Afterwards I got this giant 96.7 banner that I still have hanging in my room
Hm.. would never have expected so many Facepunchers would be from Austin. Maybe we should find a place to meet up some time.

I was born in Corsicana, but when I was two I moved to Metro Detroit. I go to Austin and Dallas once every two years. I really want to move there when I get older.
Is there anything interesting about Frisco?
Is there anything interesting about Frisco?
Been there a few times. Stonebriar mall is pretty nice. Also they have light shows every year for christmas in their downtown which is pretty neat. Other than that I haven't heard anything
Anybody heard of Southlake, TX?
I have, it's on the other side of grapevine lake from lewisville (lewisville and carrolton border plano)
We should make a map with dots in our general vicinity so we know where the biggest distribution of facerpunchers are.

If not we could just use the good old fashioned repost method using this picture: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1439792/texas.png I marked myself. If you zoom in enough you can see city names which should help.
Oh sweet, a Texas thread. I just moved into Alamo Heights, close to San Antonio. I like it, honestly. And I can confirm that there are a lot of Mexicans.
Alamo Heights bro! I live right off eisenhauer, whereabouts do you live?
Corpus Christi, Hate it. Lived in Austin when I was raised. Moved to the midwest. Moved back. Love to drive to SA from CC and visit my friends up at UTSA, grab some actual dodie (Higher-quality Marijuana) instead of shit buds and overpriced hydroponics in CC. Last time I drove to San An from Corpus I sang a freestyle song about how much I loved texas for an hour thinking "If a state trooper pulls me over I'll just confess my love for Texas and be on my way." Training Jet from the CC naval base just flew directly overhead. Serious disturbance of the peace IMO but where else are they going to train pilots? CC's 99% Texan excrement anyways. Also, anyone else hunt around Orange Grove? Family has a hunting lease about 30 miles out. Hog every dawn and dusk all year. Anyone ever gut a javelina? Don't.
I think that makes 3 known corpus members. I don't think I know anyone who likes it here, all my old friends moved away after highschool. I just stayed at tamucc.
Never been to Corpus but I considered the possibility of going to TAMUCC eventually. Though I'll probably end up going to TAMUG soon.
