I woke up this morning and realized I needed to wear my coat! Then when I left for work with my coat on it was no longer cold. Fucking Texas weather, love it and hate it.

It's either 40 in the morning or 90 in the noontime. Austin's weather can be worse then Florida at times
Yep, daily routine:
-get up in the morning
-pour steaming water onto windshield to thaw it
-freeze my ass off on the way to school
-midday, time to go home
-steering wheel and seatbelts are on fire, air conditioner takes 10 minutes to cool car down
-sweating by the time I get home

You realize pouring hot water on your frozen windshield can crack it right? Also, start your car about 10-15 minutes before you head to school so you don't have to freeze to death.
I moved to San Antonio recently, and I don't think it's THAT bad.
Ok, I'm back. What does Oklahoma have to do with me getting banned?

There's an AC setting that blows air on the windshield, just start your car early and crank up the heat on that setting and your car will be nice and toasty with no ice on the windshield by time you have to leave.

How can we be sure you're really from Texas!?!?!?
Hmmm... No idea how to prove I'm a native Texan. I am though.

Texas in a nutshell
Those of you in SA need to grab ingress (google's CTF ARG) and we should meet up and play.
All you need to do is read the title of the video and you can be fairly certain that the answer is no. First of all it is not legal for a state to secede from the United States, and if it seceded, the US would slap it with an embargo that would make the US-Cuba relationship look like a free trade zone. Good luck succeeding economically after that. Besides, something tells me the US wouldn't stand idly by while Texas broke the law and declared themselves an independent nation. I think that US military occupation would be enough to change more than a few people's minds, under the presumption that any of this could even be remotely successful.
But, Texans will be Texans, and Texas culture and Texan values are so diverse and solidified that Texas may as well be its own country anyway, in every way except politically.
There was a shooting at a theater in San Antonio a few hours ago, it looks kind of serious

Dear christ, I almost went there.....
SAN ANTONIO -- Two men were transported with unknown injuries following a shooting near the Santikos Mayan Palace 14 theater complex late Sunday. The shooting ended with a deputy shooting the suspected gunman, confirmed Lu Antu, Bexar County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
The shooting occurred just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Antu said the suspected shooter shot a man at nearby China Garden, located in the parking lot of the 1900 block of South West Military Drive. The shooting then moved toward the Mayan movie theater, where an off-duty Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputy working security saw the suspected gunman armed.
Antu said the deputy shot and hit the suspected gunman. Both shooting victims were not immediately identified by Antu. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is the lead agency in the case, he said.
That's what happens when you try a shooting in Texas.

Yep, it is bad. Hardly any rain too.
Summer is gonna be bad.
Weather has been beautiful lately in DFW area, in my opinion. the 50s and 60s are perfect
All the overcast ruins it. Shit's a little depressing. Just not a real big fan of it. Besides that yeah the weather is quite nice.
