The Invisible was a pretty depressing movie for me, especially the end.
The Great Silence (Il Grande Silenzio) (1968)
I watched the Green Mile for the first time a few days ago. Brilliant film. Incredibly sad ending.
I shed a tear
Moon [sp]when Sam finds out one of his clones is already back at home, and his wife is dead[/sp]
that whole movie is sad, you can't help but feel bad for Sam
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
The entire concept is so tragic, especially when you contrast the scenes of Joel and Clementine happy together with the ending. Even the subplot about Mary is depressing.
Amazing film but.
I thought Forest Gump at some parts.
I watched Schindler's List last night with my girlfriend because she hadn't seen it, I cried. She didn't.

That shit was the last time I really cried.
I watched that as a little kid, and I was balling at the end. I didn't understand all of it yet, but it still made me really sad.

If you've ever made a joke about Jews you should go watch this NOW.
Easily one of the saddest movies I've ever seen.
Terminator 2
Schindler's List
Click.
Saving Private Ryan.
Requiem for a Dream's ending really got me fucking hard.
You might wanna rephrase that, buddy. :smugdog:
The Green Mile really repressed me. Also, a friend of mine said that the movie Big Fish is really sad. I'm gonna watch it as soon as possible.
The ending of Donnie Darko.
It's really sad especially when Donnies father breaks into tears. Hell, everything about that scene is sad, even when that guy with the child porn studio is crying when he realizes how pathetic his life really is opposed to what he's always talking about in his presentations.
Also: I don't have to comment on the soundtrack that is playing. If you ask people for a sad song this might just be the first thing that pops into their heads (next to Enya with "Only Time" maybe)

2:01 with the reactions of his family always makes me cry :crying:
Gladiator, the ending
Last Minutes with Oden.

This is definitely the saddest movie I've seen. It's a short film, but I GUARANTEE you'll cry. Please take the time to watch it. It's extremely moving.
At first I was expecting a short story about the guys father, then about his friends, then I found out it was about his dog... When he was in the vet I literally started to cry, I have an old dog, so I know that I'll have to do something like that in anywhere from 1-6 years.
The Green Mile.
:(
Four pages and not one single mention of My Dog Skip?
For shame.
Moon [sp]when Sam finds out one of his clones is already back at home, and his wife is dead[/sp]

[sp]I like how you failed to realize that it was the original Sam, not one of the clones[/sp]
Dead Man's Shoes was the last movie to make me cry
The thin red line. Especially when Whit dies, i shed a manly tear to that scene every time.
Everyone I know seems to think What Dreams May Come was a pretty sad movie, I guess I got a different message from it.
Donnie Darko
Donnie Darko, The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Bambi.
