I've never had any problems with spice, other than shitty hangover like feelings if I go to sleep on it sometimes. Crazy as it may be I've smoked hookah bowls of the shit and only gotten high as fuck.
I have seen people puke though so I'd be very weary of it or better yet avoid it all together and smoke the weed stuff.
