some people just dont understand mental illness. Its not as simple as a broken arm, where you can 1) show how the injury/disease happened 2) show that it is an injury/disease 3) have a clear cut way of treating the clear cut injury/disease and 4) cure it. My family knows about mental illness as almost all of them have had gone to therapy in their past. My sister's bf didnt really understand her depression and thought it was something he could help her out of himself by just being there for her and try to 'snap' her out of it (over time they talked it over and he slowly got it). And most people who dont know think that, that mental illness/disorders are something you can just come out of, but in reality it takes a lot more work than that. If its biological (in the sense that their is damage to the brain or an chemical imbalance) then you need meds, along with cognitive therapy to combat the years and decades you have been thinking this way about yourself. Thats the problem with depression treatment these days, people think drugs is all they need, when in reality what happens is that you eliminate the shit feeling but you never get the feeling of joy back. Its mending the mindset and the way you think that is the final step that meds cant help. Hope you get better and the sooner you get started the better, i learned the hard way as my anxiety and depression amplified over the years as i didnt get it treated and fucked myself over. I feel a bit better now that ive started, just knowing you are getting help adds to it.
thankyou for this, captain.
Hope everything turns out allright soon And moose, congrats with your job bro :D
Thanks Bood, I'll make you some sort of nasty american food. [editline]7th May 2012[/editline]
m00se, thing is about that piece is even with the metal stem it still hits really smooth. I could get another piece for the same price with a glass stem, but would it really make it that much smoother? Should I get this instead? It's not a removable conepiece, it's just got a carb on the side. It's about the same price ($45 AU)
I'm sure it hits smooth. But I'm a purist at this point. I used to use plastic bottles, then I got ceramic, then metal, then meerschaum then glass. I like glass the best, smoothest hits and no surprise cancer.
So many musicians smoke weed I doubt it ruins your singing voice :v:
It actually makes you sing better, opens you all up, and you don't hold back.
i hope i'm wrong in saying this but i hope i'm here to talk to you all again tomorrow. goodnight (im exhausted)
so apparently i have been kicking myself out of potential lucid dreams by stopping the random feelings of vertigo and/or falling back off of my bed damn
Speaking of lucid dreams, I think I might be starting to get into it. I can recognize when I'm dreaming, but the dream itself subtly tells me inside my mind that it's not a dream, it's reality. Hard to explain.

bump, smoking a bowl
Nice room. [editline]7th May 2012[/editline] lol that was last page

I heard about that technique before, as well as a technique where you draw an "A" on your hand and you make a habit of looking at it about ten times every hour. Whenever you look at your hand in a dream and the "A" isn't there, it's time to start flying.
Everyone's...so...chill. Also, smoking a quick bowl of Silver Surfer. This shit's dank. Bumpity bump.

I have a few things to say. 1. Ice in a homemade bong is the best. 2. I'm still high. 3. Yesterday we took coffee that was sitting in the pot for hours and instead of heating it up, scooped icecream into it. It's the sweetest conconction I will ever be put subject to.
tip of the day: don't do meth, folks
so apparently i have been kicking myself out of potential lucid dreams by stopping the random feelings of vertigo and/or falling back off of my bed damn
Wait that feeling is the start of lucid dreaming?

Easy ways that dont involve constant real life checks, in dreams you can breathe through your nose and your tongue will go through your teeth. [editline]7th May 2012[/editline]
Wait that feeling is the start of lucid dreaming?
its known as the 'falling dream' but thats the first stage of sleep, 5-15min in you can sometimes get the sensation and you will wake up out of panic. Far from REM sleep though, so you arent close to lucid dreaming. [editline]7th May 2012[/editline] i gave up on dream anaylsis in psychology since most of the dream analysis isnt all that reliable and imo becomes more of what a psychic does (psychics will name or label random things and allow the participant to fill in the blanks with significance, thats how they "read your mind", you basically do it for them). There are a few universal symbols in dreams, however dreams can be completely random and may seem to 'tell the future' when in reality you are making it happen yourself and giving it meaning when there is none.
How nice, an old friend from 9th out of the blue tells me he's selling so I get a 25, stinky dense afghan delivered right to me. Yay Monday night!
'nother bump, Sun feels fucking amazing after a bowl
