I was getting a shitty framerate so I lowered the resolution
Even at 1024x768 I get 30fps max

ask around, one of your friends might have a prescription for some ad/hd medication. (stay away from concerta though, it's a fucking joke)
and morphine is a painkiller, so look for someone with back problems and alike.
