Really there's not much else to spend it on. They give you too much to just use on food, and not enough to use on food AND rent. So generally you'd be living at home, and you have to spend it somewhere else or save it.

I would understand purchasing a cheap bong, but anything more is pretty unjustifiable because that money is a bit too much because it's there to give you economic security. It's there to protect you in the event of illness, sudden incurred costs, and ensure that you can still provide for yourself and your dependents if you have any.

It's not that hard to get government benefits. You just have to be poor :v:. My SSI came from my dad dying. He was paying child support until I was 18 so I'm assuming the government just stepped in and gave us the rest of what he was supposed to pay.
