Yea it would be more cost efficient to make poppy seed tea instead, its stronger than just codeine anyway and you can drink it

that's pretty normal, don't get anxious about it and it will happen less. I find if you're anxious about something happening while you're high, even if it doesn't happen you'll get uncomfortable because you're thinking about it, then you'll start arguing with yourself whether or not it's normal and stuff like that.
Not being anxious is pretty much the key to a good high i find
