Missed a call from Apple today about it as I was out on a driving lesson, they're going to call me again tomorrow. Not sure what's it's about exactly, but hopefully it's good.

Possibly, but then in the same way they could ask the multitude of Facebook/MSN apps to prove they're affiliated, and clearly, they're not. I can't see why you have to be to create a client for the site.

No but then the MSN protocol specs aren't open either as far as I'm aware.
Also, you're allowed to use trademarks such as the word Lockerz and the logo nominatively, ie you can't pretend to be that company. You can use them to reference the company though, which is what I'm doing. There's a huge disclaimer on the iTunes description stating that I'm not affiliated.
Apple will be assholes about approving apps where they can frankly.
I hope it's good news. If not, you can always post it on Cydia.
