i quit smoking by weening myself off nicotine with white portion camel snus. i took like 5-10 a day and didn't smoke at all. after about 2 weeks the smoking habit fades a bit and i could start lowering my dosage by a couple packages a day every 2 weeks. the cool thing about snus too was that i could use it without spitting since it was unsalted or w/e. i didn't have to worry about being disgusting while i used it at all.
the key is if you are weening in some way, do it very slowly. don't rush the process otherwise you are likely to start smoking again.

That essay is an example of how much power our peers have over children. It really is amazing.
I actually got kicked out of DARE in 4th grade, was supposed to be 4th and 5th. Everyone but me in my class had completed the program. The reason I was kicked out was because I had a verbal disagreement with a police officer who came in to discuss the effects of specific drugs and things of that nature. I told her that it was wrong to arrest people for hurting themselves and that they should be hospitalized. She said they were criminals, and I called her a criminal. That's when I got kicked out of the program by the teacher in the room. That's fine by me, it was 30 minutes after school each tuesday from what I can recall, and that's a waste of time.

I was a real fucker as a kid, after watching Captain Planet I would go on walks and pick up trash. After school I'd pick up trash outside to throw away when I got home. My mom was always pissed because I had a backpack full of shit.
I've never heard of D.A.R.E before this but I'm addicted to the song.
I've actually rolled quite a few while listening to it.
The only drug related essay I've written is for a mock english GCSE test and it was a letter addressed to the Prime Minister about any subject you want.

I agree, I'm addicted up the fucking walls here, I can barely go an hour without a fag let alone a day. Drained bare cash on them for absolutely no gain except for being able to roll joints, which is a rare occurrence now because I'm skint
D.A.R.E sounds like the state is daring you to do drugs.
That's the exact opposide of keeping kids away.
