3rd headset i've owned. Not INCREDIBLY bad, but not that good. I would rank them about 4.5/10.
Completely not worth the price though.
Person who bought them for me got them for less than twenty, so I guess it was a bargain.
Still can't get over how they're endorsed by this guy.

Welcome to "mlg gaming".
One thing that i've learned is that any respectable competitive gamer doesn't do endorsements. Comp FPS wise.

I just got the Audio Technica m50s. They're lovely.
Proud user of the ATH-M50S as well.
my headphones are the latest super cool Soundo Noisehear 3000s
they've got the best sounds and waves and they make things happen inside of my ears
MS LifeChat LX-3000, I don't see any point in me spending more than £30 on headphones.

What i mean is like you definitely need sponsors. But there are people like Fatal1ty who endorses fucking everything and willingly slaps his name on shit.
At this point he's not just endorsing to be a pro gamer, he's endorsing to whore himself out for money.

I feel sorry for your ears.
Well you know, then again, you won't notice a significant difference if you just use a typical onboard sound card when it comes down to pc use.
If were still posing pictures of headsets...

Or maybe I just don't care about audio quality :v: As long as I can hear it I don't care.

Oh shit I forgot my ACOG, IR laser, M4, M302, M1A2 and the M240.
I have failed in COD. :(

Aye but to someone like me this is like saying "i don't care if i can only eat crackers my whole life, as long as i eat food i don't care".
Sure it gets the job done, but don't you want to maybe spend a bit more and get something like a steak?

It's not that I don't WANT to try the finer stuff, it's that I can't exactly afford it. Nor can I see much of a point in making such a big investment in some £150+ headphones or such.

Sorry but the difference is nothing like crackers to steak.
It's more like comparing Steak to Venison, one is more expensive and doesn't have that much of a benefit over the other.
Also remembering that when it comes to sound I have all the variety I want at astoundingly good quality, try going back from a digital onboard soundcard to an analog one on an oldsr motherboard where you can hear noise all the time. My £30 GameCom 377 is in all aspects perfect for the job, it's solid as fuck and has lasted years. Why the fuck would I spend 5x more on negligible quality?
The only time I bought a new headset was because my old one only worked in one ear, and only then if you turned your head 45 degrees to let the cables inside connect.
Gah, Mr. Noodle Arms over here needs to toughen up. Gonna start doing some pushups/situps, might buy one of those workout bars if it doesn't pull the doorframe down on me.

You're taking an analogy too literally and over thinking it. I see what you're trying to correct by making it meat vs meat but that isn't exactly the point.

But the crackers of the audio world are poundland earbuds.

Wrong, I'm taking the analogy and pointing out you're making the difference sound massive, when it's not. It's overpriced shit, like venison.
Good job reading the rest of my post though. I'm going to bed.
I feel bad for starting this now.

You didn't start anything. no worries.
This morning I was mostly asleep and sitting on the recliner, when my dad hands me my baby niece and tells me to hold her.
I'm not paying attention to really anything, so she just rolls off on to the ground. I didn't even realize what had happened until my dad yelled at me.
Rest of the day was pretty shitty, felt sick all day and just wanted to sit down and do nothing but my other niece wouldn't stop fucking screaming holy dicks toddlers are awful

You also missed the point of my post in the first place, jumping the gun and thinking I'm just being pedantic of analogies, what the fuck.
Well it's edited in properly for you so you can understand the meaning now.
Also i don't get the point of what you're saying here
try going back from a digital onboard soundcard to an analog one on an oldsr motherboard where you can hear noise all the time
I said earlier that, unless you're using a dedicated soundcard in your machine, you won't notice a significant difference and you just kind of confirm that.

And does the whole audiophile soumdcard and headphone/speaker system really make a big difference for the cost, I mean, hundreds of pounds for a 'decent' system for you guys. My dad had a computer with a sound blaster X-Fi, I don't honestly see that much of a difference.
The spund quality on a normal PC isn't that bad to want to biy £150 headphones and then £100+ soundcard.

Toddlers still suck though.
