Whilst I do enjoy coffee, sadly I can exceed two cups, otherwise my body starts rejecting it like the plague. I just feel really, really sick.
And I don't think it has anything to do with caffeine, since I drink tea like mad.
It is a mystery.
Good coffee doesn't need creamer. Your dad is ruining it.
It's not ruined because its made differently, fuck, I've put almond milk, soy milk, 2% milk, skim milk, and creamer in my coffee. It was all still coffee and it all tasted the same (except the skim milk UGH).Of course that's not even including sweeteners and other flavorings like hazelnut, caramel, agave or whatnot.
Good coffee doesn't need creamer. Your dad is ruining it.
That's what I like to believe but we get cheap stuff and I cannot handle coffee without some sort of sweetener/flavouring like vanilla or a couple teaspoons of sugar.
It's not ruined because its made differently, fuck, I've put almond milk, soy milk, 2% milk, skim milk, and creamer in my coffee. It was all still coffee and it all tasted the same (except the skim milk UGH).
Excuse me sir but it does NOT taste the same. The only reason why dairy and sugar was added to coffee was because people in europe couldn't stand the bitter taste. It's like chocolate drink, they added peppers and spices to it to deal with the bitter taste.
If coffee is made properly and roasted properly no creamer or even sugar is required. If you don't like the bitter taste of it then maybe you shouldn't drink it to begin with. Its like people who can't stand vodka so they mix it with fruity drinks so they can drink it and get drunk, there are plenty of other things to get you drunk just like how there are plenty of other things to give you caffeine. You shouldn't have to "make" it drinkable when it's already perfectly drinkable.
It is all personal preference but there are so many people who just "assume" coffee is this tan sweet liquid. There are times where even i use creamer but that's only if it's not a proper cup of coffee, like fast food coffee/instant coffee. It also depends on the roast. If it's a medium roast i tend to put a minimal amount in there.
Also Tark, you're not being subtle about this hostility, i thought you were better than that.

spoonful of coffee
spoonful of sugar
8 parts boiling water to 2 parts milk on top
stir
ez
Also, coffeemate is a fucking travesty against coffee. It's on it's own plane of hell. It's just awful.
You can use Creamer, but whatever you do, please don't use coffeemate.
I hate coffee
People can argue about anything huh.

2 hours in a plane and I find yet another coffee war. I think I may have started it. I pretty much walked in, said "coffee tastes icky" walked out and kaboom!
Looks like someone has had a bit too much to drink...
I'd actually drink Chai Tea if it were more available to me, that stuff is really nice too but I just don't have any packets of it nor know how to make it absolutely amazing.

coffee is such a 50/50 drink to be totally honest, i can definitely see why people dislike it but i like it myself
and i only understand how people can dislike coffee because i dislike tea myself, its just a weird flavour to me, so yeah each to his own

If you insist on putting cream in a proper cup of coffee i will judge you.
the juuuuuudgements.
Also Tark i'm talking about over the course of roughly a month. I'm pretty sure i know you're out of town seeing as i texted you and you responded like a day later.

jk ;p
Not everyone adds creamer because they can't stand plain coffee. I'm perfectly fine with just drinking it as is, but i still prefer to add creamer to it because I like the way it complements a cup of good coffee.
I don't really like coffee yet because my taste buds haven't adjusted to it

i only add cream on medium roasts. Won't touch light roasts, light roasts to me tastes like severely watered down coffee. Sure the caffeine content is higher but i dont drink coffee for caffeine.

man i need to find a hobby outside of coffee and reading obscure wikipedia articles.

Chai tea is the best
[t]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21E-6bohMrL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/t]
Just the other day I picked up like 5 of these
chai lattes are tasty. Oddly enough though the first time i had it was at a bagel shop on campus. I'm not sure exactly how "real" it is but i watch them make it and i know they are actually using tea and not just like a flavored syrup.
Whenever i get it else where though it tastes different and is much sweeter so i dont know which is the more typical one.
Is anyone here able to clarify on an Australian like myself getting a citizenship in America via marriage?
Don't take this the wrong way but that is the weirdest question to ask out of the blue like that.
Wasn't there something about Total Biscuit not getting citizenship in America even though his wife was a citizen and living there? He had to stay in the Uk for months before he could move over. Does he have children? I think he also had his child over there as well or something. I found it.
I know nothing about Citizenship through marriage but it definitely isn't easy. It looks like he was just after a visa as well, not even citizenship. So it seems like you need to be careful with how you go about it.
DOMA (look it up) will fuck you over if you're looking for citizenship via homosexual marriage.
Oh! If this is the case and it is really pressing, my boss is an Australian and lives overseas with her partner (they aren't married but she's been living with her for probably decades now). Granted I have never spoken to her about this kind of stuff, but she would have gone through it all. Call on this only if you're desperate though, I won't lose my job or anything but I would have a hard time thinking of a way to bring it up. She's a family friend though, so I'd figure a way out.
I put holes in my ears! And put things in them today!
