Because it's a good show. It's nothing like Dora or teletubbies or whatever. It resembles powerpuff girls, fosters home for imaginary friends, and other old CN shows more than the 4-year old stuff.
Have you watched the show? You may argue that it's a children's show, but comparing it with toddler shows is stupid.

Personally I just watch the show because I enjoy it. I don't really care for the fandom because it's so double sided, but I do enjoy the good quality content that's pumped out.
Your question has a pretty simple answer; Either you like it or you don't.
If you can't understand it and you get frustrated from not being able to get why the fanbase grows and that insane rate it's going at now, just let it go.
Probably the best example of what [b]I[/b] can't understand the hype about would probably be Homestuck. I've tried seeing why so many people like it, but I never really got it. I didn't get upset about it either because there's nothing wrong with people liking stuff that I don't.
Plus, it's much more fun getting along with others despite our different interests. We're all different and that's just how the world is. I'm pretty sure everything would be pretty boring if we all liked the same stuff.
I probably felt the most pity for the black guy, John. He even said he doesn't watch the show, which to me sounds more like he's trying to find a place to fit in, even if he himself doesn't like the material.

more than resembles, it was made by the same animators, designers and writers as ppg, dexter's lab, foster's, samurai jack, etc. It's just the studio was asked to reboot a licenced series with a terrible history of being shitty girlygirl stuff. I think it's been explained a bunch in this thread but I know nobody's reading it all if they just showed up.

It's a pretty shitty graph. I believe it's saying that the fans you notice are largely dumb, but some of them are brilliant. But apparently you don't notice 99% of the brilliant fans. Also apparently "brilliant" is something you can be a fan of (Obviously not, but I don't know what the fuck it's supposed to represent)
The "dumb fans" are with the "fans you notice," not an entirely separate circle.
My point is "dumb fans" is a subset of "fans you notice", meaning all of those outside dumb fans in the ones have no qualifier other than you noticing them. The graph is not just silly, it's incorrect.
