I have some bronies on my steam friends, but none of them are as bad as the ones in this video. I really had some "what the fuck am I watching" moments when I was watching this.

wtf
he had a really bad case of that nerd lisp that makes your "s" sound like "h". so basically when he said "she" it just sounds like "he" because lisp.
I honestly don't feel really bad for them.
From the way it sounds, a lot of the people didn't have many friends or a family to talk to, and were picked on in school. And for people to mature, they need to feel accepted. If these people never felt accepted as children, then I'm sure they feel accepted in this fandom. A lot of people may say that the whole "friendship and tolerance" thing is kinda gay, but people really do need to feel accepted in order to mature.
These people have found happiness in each other, which is commendable. Perhaps the show is just a mask or a reason to treat others kindly. Maybe everyone who's a part of the fandom does genuinely like the show. Who is to say? Either way, the show seems to be getting its point across, and perhaps that's exactly what today's youth needs.

Or its a bunch of desperate neckbeards. I'm sorry but when you abandon your real friends and spend 40 dollars on a MLP scarf and you can't even get home because of this, that's an all time low.
Whats really depressing me most out of all of this video is the sweet ass banjo guy (playing the best instrument in the fucking universe) nearly tearing up because "they fucking took my best friend"
I can't even begin to try and relate to him, because its impossible in my eyes.

And what happens when the show ends? This is self-destructive escapism bullshit, and all it's doing is giving them a temporary respite from the wake up call that will hit them in the face. The world is an asshole and the moment that the MLP fandom ends it's not gonna pull its punches.

Atleast I didn't do the costanza or do the ">" thing or have it steer towards hatred for them.

Perhaps all the people need is a temporary respite. Some people may apply what they've learned before the show dies down. And who's to say the fandom will die down abruptly? For how popular it is at the moment, it'll be going strong for a while.

[del] "Ponies in My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic reproduce sexually, so where are their genitalia? Pound and Pumpkin Cake were born, but through where? From what's shown you'd think they were like Barbie dolls, but we know for a fact that that's not the case. But why? Where are their vulvae? Their penises? How do they poop? How do they suckle? If these questions keep you up at night like they do me, join the Pony Plot Perfection Project. Our stated mission is to edit the episodes so that the characters are more anatomically complete, with their genitalia, anuses, and teats all right where they belong. This is not a sexual project, but anyone who wants to is free to become a Perfectly Proud Pony Plot Perfection Project Participant. Even if you lack artistic skills, you can still help on the artistic or management sides, or even just with recruitment through the Perfectly Proud Pony Plot Perfection Project Participant Pursuit. Progress updates will mainly be taking place at our blog, the Pony Plot Perfection Project Periodical: [link] This is where we will be posting updates, as well as imbedding the official Perfect Plot Productions. As of 04/27/2012, we are still in the Perfectly Proud Pony Plot Perfection Project Participant Pursuit phase, but once we have enough Perfectly Proud Pony Plot Perfection Project Participants, we can move on to the Pony Plot Perfection Project Planning Process and start assigning roles, developing a strategy, scheduling, and so on. After we have completed the Pony Plot Perfection Project Planning Process, we will start work on our Primary Product, a short proof-of-concept clip to show people we mean business and give us momentum going into creating the full Perfect Plot Productions. Anyone who is interested in helping us with our Perfection (the act of perfecting, not the state of being perfect) and becoming a Perfectly Proud Pony Plot Perfection Project Participant can contact us here, on the Pony Plot Perfection Project Periodical, or through our email at ponyplotperfectionproject[at]gmail[dot]com."[/del]
Fuck the guy above got it first
Wow, is that seriously a thing?
Screw everything I said above.
Fairly certain it's a troll thing, from what I've heard that DeviantArt page is very dead
I have this strange mix between pity and hate now.
At first it was just pure fiery hatred, only enhanced by the revelation that one of my own friends had been converted, and watching this documentary sort of humanized them to a degree.
I still greatly dislike "bronies" mind you, but now I just want someone to send these guys to a psychologist. I thought I had issues with people, but these guys just take it to a whole new degree.

It was real but it completely crashed & burned due to a bunch of reasons, mainly because it's fucking disgusting and retarded
I saw this posted on a board earlier (the image not the post itself), seems relevant

Your voice isn't good for this sort of thing.
I feel the need to shower after watching that...
Come to think of it, this is funny. I don't want to attend such convention, I never did. You'd have to convince me pretty hard. Oh well.
This is so fucking awful to watch. Makes me sad to watch My Little Pony. This also makes me want to blow my brains out because of how disappointed I am in humanity
Edit: Did that guy just call Fluttershy a he?
Edit2: FUCK THIS MAKES ME WANT TO KILL SOMEONE.
Edit3: Am I the only brony who isn't a fat pizza-face with a speech impediment?
Edit: Did that guy just call Fluttershy a he?
Yes, he did.
No, I don't know why and I probably don't wanna know why.
Meh. most "Bronies" I know are OK, I know one guy who made his own pony themed email service, and he even makes some money from it.
I don't really care about bronies, but some people take shit too far.
[editline]10th June 2012[/editline]
Oh god some of the lisps the people have...
Personally I stopped giving a shit, I occasionally watch the show, but I watch transformers, yu-gi-oh, thomas the tank and whatever else. I just like kid's cartoons and they help pass the time.
I don't call myself a "brony" and I shouldn't really call myself a "furry" either simply because they're hobbies rather than a need for social interaction.

who thought this was a bright idea
it isn't
it's a cartoon with a primary intended audience of children
making it more "realistic" or sexualizing it isn't going to make it any 'better'
Having an interest is okay, having an interest and sharing it with people is okay too.
Having an interest and going to conventions dressing up, and buying items that aren't meant in a persons nature is going a bit overboard.
I hope these people realize this.

Don't worry, it's not sexual.

All I feel for these people is sadness. They really need some help.

I have an 8 year old cousin who loves the show. Makes me feel worried that she might come across this shit at some point.
