Thought Facepunch might like this. It seems pretty accurate to me. Some important stuff: Site: http://www.futuretimeline.net/index.htm
Seems reasonable. I'm probably one of those guys who will destroy our country's culture. Fish? No. Skiing? No. National Day? Stopped caring when other countries's flags got mixed with ours. Hate winter, prefer heat. Metal? No. Basically Norway. Oh, and I like English more than Norwegian.

Where are the thought police?
People that argue the world is getting overpopulated/won't have enough food to support population are uninformed.
2070 - Fusion power is widespread, Fully automated homes ,Expansion of Moon bases
I doubt that it will take until 2070 for fully automated homes. Already there are systems available that automate most of the house, and really, if you have enough money, you can automate pretty much anything in that category. Examples: X10 System Stuff: http://www.smarthome.com/_/X10_Compatible/_/23X/land.aspx Control 4 System: http://www.control4.com/ Considering how much we are advancing along that path, I'd expect full widespread home automation by at least 2020...
People that argue the world is getting overpopulated/won't have enough food to support population are uninformed.
I remember you said something along the lines of "If 'first world' farming equipment was given to third world countries, Earth's carrying capacity would reach 30 billion." That sounds plausible. Easier said than done, of course, but plausible. And space is most definitely not a problem.
The longer timeline seems a bit optimistic. I predict that eighter humanity will go extinct within the nearest 50 000 years, or evolution will replace us with some more advanced species within 10 million years.
Whenever we think of the future, we think of all these technological advancements, and how awesome they are. But we never consider that it's all currently going on around us. 20 years ago, it would be considered space-age to have a 3.0Ghz computer, but we don't even think of it today. If we ever get to the point of organ replacements and near-immortality, it'll have happened in such baby steps we probably won't even notice it.
or evolution will replace us with some more advanced species within 10 million years.
That's not how evolution works, bro.
Where's mah 7 hour war!?
That's not how evolution works, bro.
I know exactly how evolution works. I'm quite sure that you have misunderstood what I meant. I meant like this: Sooner or later a new species will appear that is more advanced (as in; better suited for a future world than Homo sapiens) than us, and it will gradually take our place as the dominant species (relatively speaking). How? There are many possibilities: It could come up a predator that view humans as prey, it could come a new species that rivals us for the same resources, and of course we could evolve into a new species of humanoid which is better suited for future conditions. I know quite a lot about evolution, mate.

The only way we would be "threatened" by a new species would be if the entire human population evolved into a new subspecies, but even then it would be more of a transition .
The last example given was through transition. I included transition in "Extinction" because of the fact that the species Homo sapiens would disappear. To make it over-obvious: We will possibly be replaced (Eighter through actual extinction or through transition) by a more advanced (better suited to a future environment) species than us in a unknown future which I predict to be within the next 10 000 000 years.
Yeah not like we'll have extremely advanced technology or anything by then.
Every species will disappear someday, eighter by extinction or by transition. This includes Homo sapiens.
I can't believe that the universe will end. Noooooo!!!
The last example given was through transition. I included transition in "Extinction" because of the fact that the species Homo sapiens would disappear.
Whoops, missed that.
I can't believe that the universe will end. Noooooo!!!
I find it calming that everything is going to eventually amount to nothing, and there's absolutely nothing anybody can do about it.
wow the 2100 and 2200 are scary, im not ready for that. but i think that i would be dead by then.
I hope you guys realize that as time goes on the world population will eventually peak and begin to rapidly decline due to an increased quality of life.. People in developed countries don't really have much babies and as the world gets more and more educated and technologically advanced there's going to be less of a need to have babies because of the stress and access to birth control. Everyone trolling here must think that this is quite possible, 10 years ago we couldn't even believe we could play games on such high quality. Technology will never stop growing and in time many of these awesome things will happen. :) The most epic things happens when I'm kind of old though :( I really look forward to chip implants to improve skills or learn things. That is unthinkable in this year, but I'm quite sure it could happen. Closest movie that is relevant to this is probably The Matrix. When I look at these lines where you can see the population of earth it makes me think of Mr. Smith: The human race is like a virus, it multiplies itself, uses up all the sources in the area and move to another area to use up the sources and continue to multiply.
