Just another thought. Is the subconcious you can talk to via whatever the same as the pit hole of true emotions and skills. Once again, inspired by late night psychology chat in church camp.
Actually, yeah. The ridiculous cocktail of pills that I'm on right now is giving me the best dream environment I've ever had. I don't know how much of it is commercially available, but here's what I'm on. Citalopram - I know for a fact you can't get this without a perscription, but it calms you down and makes your anxiety center chill the fuck out. Vitamin B Complex - Always good, as I've stated multiple times. B12 and B6 = good friends. Fish Oil Pills - Omega 3 is crazy good for your heart, and Omega 6 is great for your brain. Theanine Complex - Neurotransmitter that regulates aggression and negative thoughts. Good stuff. Basically I'm in dream heaven.
What about codeine? That shit work? I wanna know becuase Im getting my wisdom teeth pulled in the next year sometime.
I had a dream last night that was probably one of the weirdest I've ever had. I'll spare you the boring details, but let me put it this way. My uncle was a Sith Lord. I was wearing my snowboarding gear, for some reason. We were in an abandoned warehouse. He turned me into a Sith, which I didn't know was possible. After that, I used my Jedi powers to infiltrate a secret Nazi/Russian joint operation's secret base where they were genetically mutating animals to be super war machines (and for some reason a rhino that could play a mean piano). Shit was awesome.
I finally became lucid after the first time I became lucid when I was bloody 10 years old, so what did I do? I was so at peace in the dream and I truly enjoyed it so I just went on and continued the dream. And I became lucid because I am mc scrooch, I checked my wallet and I jokingly said in the dream what if you find all kinds of 500 euro bills and what do you think 2 500 euro bills, I instantly became lucid. So how do I trigger a wallet in a dream? Cause usually I don't buy stuff in dreams.

So hard! I've been trying since September. My dream sign is my friend he is always in my dream like 95% of my dreams. I've been trying FILD and if it doesn't work just switch onto WBTB and MILD. Plus I've been doing RCs every time I meet and depart with him and whenever I remember to when I'm with him.
Attained lucidity about a minute before I woke up. I did the rubbing hands thing, it seemed to prolong the dream but not for long. Everything was dark and I could make out some weird shapes in front of me. I didn't last long enough to see if I could influence the dream state, but it's a start I guess.
I have this recurring dream usually when I have a fever; I'm working in a factory of some sort, it's pristine, happy and not menacing like normal factories. I can't remember what we were working on but there were miles and miles of conveyor belts everywhere. For some reason I was afraid of going on then. Eventually, for some reason, I'm on the belt unable to get out and I feel like I'm stuck for eternity, unable to move and suddenly I "see" infinity. Not sure how to explain it but I feel moving forever and ever in the span of a few seconds. I know I'll never get out but time flies by really fast. Shit gets scary. tl;dr: I'm in a factory, get stuck on conveyor belt and go batshit insane.
Whenever I get lucid, I'm lucid, but my personality seems different. I do drastic things, I act stupid, I don't do what I would want to do when I think about it. And, I feel out of control of the lucid dream. Is it possible I was dreaming that I was dreaming a lucid dream?

set up my sofa for MAXIMUM COMFORT I'm planning on going in to the misfits universe if I do go lucid. Superhoodie :c00lbert: If I have a lucid tonight and remember it, I'll spend most of it getting used to the whole lucid thing and keeping control. I'm not even going to try summoning. I'm just going to spend half an hour spinning around and rubbing my hands. I'll look somewhat like this.
If I do go lucid, would saying "I will remember this dream when I wake up" in the dream actually help?
Yeah, I'd say it would if you generally have trouble remembering lucids. By calling it out like that I guess you'll draw more attention to it and its importance when you wake up. The only reason I remember them is that when I wake up I remember first of all the immense feeling of "Woah, wtf" before my memory fills in that that reaction came from my realisation it's a dream and going through dream stabilisation thinking "This is a dream."
So I drank two bottles of 5 hour energy yesterday. This ensued the following night:
I was in a snowy type area with all of these burned down abandoned houses. Mad Eye Moody comes out of nowhere with an AK-47 and starts screaming to me about how we have to take down the hostiles and burn the evidence (the houses). We go in the house and there are these huge toy soldiers waddling around. We started shooting like crazy but real blood was coming out of them. I think I remember a couple of "toy zombies" too. After we cleared the first house we lit it on fire except for one part. This one part had a huge keg of what was probably ale. It was. Moody yells, "We need to get hocked up before this next one!" And opens up the keg. Because I'm so silly I start guzzling the ale and get amazingly drunk. I looked up at the sky and I could barely tell the stars apart from the sky itself. I fell onto my back but Moody picked me up and we went into the next house. The only problem was that Moody was too drunk and shot himself. I woke up.
... :byodood:
I had just about the worst dream I've had in years, I don't usually get nightmares and when I do I'm usually more shocked then scared, but fuck me...
I dreamt I was trapped on a farm (I know...) with a load of my friends, at least it felt like they where there (I could only see one though...) and I suddenly became aware that pigs had broken out of their pens, but they did in fact have a diet consisting entirely of human-skin, several of which were coming towards me, the dream was lucid (or at least I think it was, or it could have been a nightmare in which I thought it was lucid but had no control over) as the pigs started to come towards me I panicked and tried to wake up, with no effect until they were millimetres from me and all my friends were dead (I couldn't see them but I knew they were) I blinked and a second unrelated part began, the only part of which I can remember is discussing the previous events with my parents in a curiously non-chalant manner considering...Fin.
I usually have weird dreams, but this is in the leaderboards I must say.
One night, two lucid, both wasted in seconds. First one, don't know why but I rced, at least it succeeded. I was in front of a mirror and reflection looked a horrible picture effect where stuff gets stretched. I tried punching the mirror but since it was a dream, they were slow and didn't reach the mirror. I then decided to summon my keyblade; looked at the mirror and imagined I was holding it, and lifted it. Didn't work. Dream ended. Second was a false awakening, nose pinch, didn't get proper result. I looked at my hands and my left hand had 12 fingers. I walked out of the room and dream logic started to fool me. I tried to call out Oney, but he didn't appear. So I returned to being not lucid. And zin, a dream after had me concerned
I was at the airport going through immigration stuff. A prick decided to my trolley and it I watched it go really far. I then glared at the prick and just charged at him. I grabbed hold of his head and smashed violently on whatever was around for the dream; 2 minutes maybe
My neck was all suspended and the pillows itched like crazy. I packed up my duvet and pillow and stormed back upstairs to my room, crestfallen. Then my bed felt pretty much the same. i will never sleep in comfort
I've never had a nightmare. Is this bad?
I've never had a nightmare. Is this bad?
I haven't had a nightmare for years, I used to have them much more frequently when I was younger, though, so, depends on your age, I guess.

Hnng, ghosts are never good in my dreams. I usually feel an over whelming presence and get paralyzed by fear or move very slowly and I can't say anything. It's horrible
mm ghosts are bad mmkay not going to bother trying tonight because it's christmas tommorow I'll wait til I'm back in school because then I can figure out when my rem is
no because in the dream world nothing would happen unless it's how you summon fire or something start pushing your tongue against your teeth and pushing your fingers in your palms like a madman
dw you only come off as slightly time-of-the-monthly
Could it be a bad sign or something? Like I'm having a bad life so my dreams are nice
Probably not, especially if you don't remember your dreams every night. You might have had a nightmare and just not remembered it, which is the case 99% of the time. You shouldn't worry about it. You should actually be happy about it and be grateful for it.

A nightmare would probably put me off sleep for a while
I went lucid in a half-assed, half-awake dream image. I went: wut. [editline]24th December 2010[/editline] I was talking to some german chubby kid and he said everyone drove minivans. I asked him what he just saud and he said everyone drove minivans. Then I'm like: im dreaming. [editline]24th December 2010[/editline] and MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE
Well, had a lucid last night. It was way longer than normal. Like, in 3 hours of sleep I had a dream that felt like 9 hours. Nothing too awesome I guess, and I'm not even gonna try explaining it, but still kinda cool. I have a headache now though.
oh hey i recognize you from the misfits thread
Ha, yeah. I saw you a little earlier in the thread and wondered whether I should say hi. Also, I'm beginning to lose patience with myself. I've been sleeping longer than I have in a long time, but the moment I wake up, my dream recall dies. I KNOW I've had dreams, and long ones, I'm aware of that much, but just can't get more than the vaguest of feelings back about it. This morning I'd just woken up and basically transitioned straight from dream to relatively aware, so immediately dumped myself back into the dream as a memory to try and remember it. Only, ten seconds in, my dad bursts in to make sure I'm awake and I lose it all except the very last "scene". Thanks, dad.
Dammit, just had another dream where I don't know whether I went lucid or not. I was in thee countryside with a load of people and it seemed a bit off so I checked my watch twice and say it gave a different time and impossible times (0866). So I started considering what to do, I also though about dream recall as so.done mentioned it a few pages back (saying I will remember this in a dream). I first considered summing my sub ywhich is what I would do) I went a head and tried flying. But it didn't work, kept falling flat on my face. Then someone came over and tried to help, I managed to float a few cm off the ground but when I even tried jumping it felt like there was twice as much gravity. Meh, I really can't tell if I went lucid this time for sure, just never feels like it. It REALLY annoying now, I just want atleast 1 LD!
