She deleted me liking it. This is getting ridiculous. I honestly just don't want to be on her friends list, she clearly hates me. But I do like to know how her life's going.
If you feel that way, then do it. Don't beat around the bush.
Ive been practicing dream recall for a week. I havent done it once yet :ohdear:
Man, I'm starting to sound insensitive.
wow jake, that is truly a jekyl and heyde situation right thar.
only, i think, in that book the evil one wins...... o dear.
Edited:
hey does turning a radio on quietly while you sleep help induce lucidity? it seems like it would, but pretty much all i know of lucid dreaming is what i read in your first dreaming megathread.
also, what about staring yourself down in a mirror and..... "challenging" your subconscious to let you have a lucid dream?
inb4: im a noob to dreaming, ive only remembered and written down like... 20 dreams in my lifetime.
You're probably right. I just don't want to make a decision I might regret later on. But I know I'll never talk to her again.
Why has this thread turned into a Dr. Phil Session?
Because these threads are basically I ramble incessantly and you people listen to my problems until someone posts something interesting or has a question. Basically, this thread is kind of my bitch.
Or is a great exit point for people who have friends/family who just dont give two shits about your dreams.
Pefect post for this thread.
I am going to sleep now.
Well I ate some more toast with peanut butter an banana a few hours ago and I am gonna go to bed in a few minutes, with me luck on my lucid journey.
Anyone that hasn't heard of them, go download the album Sigh No More by Mumford & Sons. It's fucking amazing.

Well I had an interesting dream.
I was in the bar of a hotel. I saw the faces of some of the kids at my school, but I sat at the bar alone, with my iPhone, waiting for something. The hot bartender came up to me, and asked me what I wanted to drink. I asked for a bottle of jack, but then I change my mind. 4 shots of jack instead, I say. She stares at me for a moment before laughing at me. She says that they don't have anymore jack. I say ok, I'll have 4 shots of whatever scotch you have. She bursts out laughing, and continues to laugh at me until I wake up.
What was so funny?
I had this dream I was on a beach, but it was an odd beach because the back part of it had chain link fences about 8-10 feet high with a bunch of rubble and mostly destroyed buildings as far as the eye could see behind the fence. I was standing facing the sea and to my left was a changing building. The beach was pretty small but there were loads of people in the water, including my Dad. Then, out of nowhere, bigger waves start coming in and then start to reach where I am standing and they only look like they're getting bigger so I climb the fence and look back, seeing that the waves are getting closer, so I start running in the rubble trying not to lose my balance until I see this building that's pretty old and rusted, etc. I go inside the building through a vent and when I get in, I'm in this narrow hallway that's all rusted like Silent Hill buildings. And then, for some reason I find a crow bar and a head crab pops up and I smack it (most of my dreams of Half-Life references in them for some reason). Then suddenly I'm in another building that's two-three stories high in a big room with walls almost completely made of windows and there are curtains/blind covering the very top of them. There are a few people with me but I can only remember one of them and she was a lady in her late 30's, early 40's who was a bit chubby and wore a small, straw hat. We were talking about how the world was ending or something and then out of the windows, we see millions of pterodactyl looking things, but they resembled Rodan from Godzilla too. So everyone starts freaking out and the Rodan looking things start pecking at the windows and circle around and do it again and one point they just leave and I got up and ran outside to leave to but this is where my dream got sort of fuzzy, but I do remember that somehow I found out the Rodan things hated loud noises so I got a bike or motorcycle and started yelling if any came near and kept traveling the rubble world with this girl I don't remember anything about. But I stopped traveling when I came to this big, clean building with no rubble around it on any side. I went in to find people in lab coats and scrubs walking around with none of them even looking at me. I find my brother as one of the people in scrubs so I run to him and he acts like I never went through all of that and didn't ask much of anything. So at this point, I don scrubs and start to work in this facility thing that looked like a kid's play room at times. Apparently I said that years have past and I never bothered to go outside so I decided to go outside and nobody stopped me even though I felt like someone was going to. When I slowly opened this big metal door, I saw I was in a city or something and there were these event barricades surrounding this side of the building with people in lab coats at every other barricade, and on the other side there were protesters dressed in regular clothes and they weren't too angry or something, just sort of standing there and talking. I walked over to a barricade and asked one of them what was going on and I don't remember what he said =/. But I told him I've been in that place for years and I felt like I was trapped and he just got a confused look on his face. Knowing there is something outside waiting for us, I tell my brother that stuff is outside and I drag him outside through another door and out this door there is rubble but I thought it was okay since I thought that it was deadly to go outside. Then I tried to convince to leave but he didn't pay attention to me. I then look in my pocket to find a phone and my Dad's texting me saying he can't see any texts I send (which happened in real life). And then I remember that I packed some food/water in a bag and started to go outside towards the door with the protesters and city and as I was opening the door, I woke up.
I know I'm terrible at explaining my dreams but what does this all even mean? Maybe I've been watching too much Tsunami videos, playing too much post-apocalyptic vidya games, too much Godzilla movies,? Well, I just wanted to type this here so if I wanted to remember it or tell someone about it I could just copy-paste it from here. That, and I felt like I should keep the dream in one shape or form.

4 Shots of scotch
I downloaded 800 songs in an hour. That is a new personal record.
Thats... uhh... 800!? how long would that take to actually listen to it all?
A long time, probably. But that's okay.
My problem is that I download songs and then listen the hell out of them until they get boring. I needed variety, so I just added 23 artists.
Op better be ready to go today is your deadline

I have very specific music tastes. I don't listen to rap, techno, or current shit. I've already got every variety of metal in my library, i was trying to expand it.
[editline]03:46PM[/editline]
Why, do you have suggestions?

Well we have something in common. I don't listen to rap or current shit. I do listen to techno and metal though.
Haste The Day, August Burns Red, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Bring Me The Horizon are all excellent hardcore metal bands.
Oh if you want a laugh listen to Rose Funeral. I guarantee you'll either be scared shitless or laugh hysterically.

I have ABR, ATR, AILD, Between the Buried and Me, Devil Wears Prada, and a couple others. Like I said, I have varied tastes.
That is intriguing. Why will I be scared?
