And I do mean y=kX. I realized this only applies for the RC and MILD methods. I'll continue to do this count about how lucids I get. I've also looked in my dream journal and my lucids are dated close to those dates with good recalls. And people, I am sorry for spamming this thread with unnecessary crap and flames. I am not going to blame on anything but myself for my part of the flames. We don't need to remember this, it only gets an ugly side of us; bitter disgust and spite. I can only hope you guys forgive me. I promise that I won't do this again.
You shouldn't have even said anything to do with that minor argument in the first place it wasn't your argument I'm aware I overreacted against doggyalt anything I said to you was not an overreaction [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] either way, this is a thread about dreams not petty fucking drama this isn't the minecraft thread [editline]30th December 2010[/editline]
Guys what happened. I realized last night that I haven't had a dream in a long time. As I went to bed I just zoned out, and it came to mind that when I sleep, I seem to just jump through time, and that I haven't had any dreams. And randomly last night, I had a dream about my grandmother. Right now, she lives in an assisted living building in Maryland because she was susceptible to tripping and falling over objects at her home. And I live in Florida. In the dream, I was in a car with my uncle, cousin, and cousin once removed. We were driving in the back of my neighborhood. None of the streets represented anything that's actually in my neighborhood, but judging from the scenery and such, I could tell it was my neighborhood. Then we take a turn around a corner and we end up in a neighborhood something like my grandmother's house (which is also in Maryland... while my neighborhood is in Florida). And aside from the fact that she doesn't live at home and can barely walk, there she was, tending to a garden in her front yard. She looked happier and younger than I've ever seen her. She saw us in the car and walked up to us. We didn't even greet each other or have a conversation or anything. She just went by each of us, saying "Goodbye, little baby". It was the saddest moment... just the saddest. And we were driving along and wherever we went I don't know, but I was just so upset. I wanted to post this just as I woke up so that it was fresh in my mind. There isn't any possibility that this is some kind of psycho-communication or what not that my grandmother actually died... right?
good luck remember: let yourself itch if you're doing WILD.
Dude I was just gonna sleep :saddowns:
Dude I was just gonna sleep :saddowns:
you're not allowed (wat)
morning i slept like shit how are u all
morning i slept like shit how are u all
Slept like shit, physically couldn't get out of bed. Hungry as fuck and dehydrated. I hate being ill :saddowns: [editline]30th December 2010[/editline] Also, I always seem to begin to LD slightly when I'm just lying in bed after waking up - is this WILDing? I don't get any of the sleep paralysis or any of the stuff anyone else talks about when they do WILD - all my dreams just seem fairly normal, albeit short because I keep waking up again.
idk about you but all my lds are in the morning
All my LDs are, never.....
idk about you but all my lds are in the morning
certainly feels like it
certainly feels like it
well i wake up and the suns up so yeah
-steps in from the subsiding shitstorm-
Is it possible to be psychologically addicted to dreaming? Not lucidly, just dreaming.
Yeah. In fact, when I was about 13 or 14, I used to get really excited about going to bed at night to dream. I'd get into bed thinking "Here we go, Jess. Let's hope it's a good one..." Yeah, I was a lonely kid >.<
i'll vote solid jake or zin sure she's a good poster but she hasn't been on board as long if you know what i mean
Just to call you out there, I've lurked on this thread since page 20, and been commenting, if a little sparsely, since page... 40ish? I'm not looking back to see exactly, but muh, close enough. On a completely different note, I think I'm paying for all my previous smugness of never having nightmares. Things have been getting pretty freaky recently. Any ideas as to why my imagination has decided to start hating me? I mean, last night's dream I was holding the top of my head together to stop my brain falling out. Not nice.
morning i slept like shit how are u all
Same. Blood air cond, it's either very moist or very cold :saddowns: At least I had an interesting dream that I could remember only remember in fragments. It was about some show or something, I had some strange food, which never got to eat because my hands were full and I keep forgetting cutlery. When the show was over, I was carrying some strange fishes. I went to the beach with some people and I let the fishes down to shore, just touching the water (because my hands were tired). They started to breathe, so I decided just to let those strange fishes go.
Also, I always seem to begin to LD slightly when I'm just lying in bed after waking up - is this WILDing? Do it while you still can. I think you came around page 40.
Just looked back, and damn, epic nostalgia, even though it was 3 months ago. Looking back around the 20s. I think you came around page 40.
Hah, I know! And it turns out I guessed rather well then.
and they've been on board for around 4 threads 2 of which are fucking dunkass battleship sized
Ah, okay, my bad, I didn't know that. This thread was the reason I signed up for FP, so I wasn't really aware of what'd been happening before that.
One time I had a dream that every light in the world had to be coloured, and suddenly I realized it was a dream and I was like "Let's take this shit FURTHER" and suddenly every city had a coloured dome over it, like there was Purple City and Green City and Blue City. And I stayed in these cities for so long, even when we traveled we were in tubes of rainbow colours. Eventually someone came along that was crazy and broke one of the domes with a box truck and everyone stepped out into the sunlight and we were all amazed at the natural beauty the light made. Then I woke up and had to piss.
I'm sure your life is great you just don't embrace it that way and it doesn't live up to it's full potential.
I don't think you'd say that if you knew what my dreams are, and what my life is not.
This thread was the reason I signed up for FP, so I wasn't really aware of what'd been happening before that.
Now I'm curious. How'd you find out about this thread? On an unrelated note, my subconscious is trolling me hardcore. I had a dream where I was explaining lucid dreaming to my dad and even did a reality check to demonstrate a reality check, but it didn't take and I never went lucid. What.
Zin, it's just bad luck.

My brother started singing really loud which woke me up from a dream and I completely forgot out of shock. I think there was a castle and the sky was weird.
Zin, it's just bad luck.
I think I understand properly understand REALITY checks. When you do a RC, you're suppose to check if you're in reality, because if you do it to check if you're in a dream, it won't work sometimes. Plus Zin, you should have performed a reality that was bound to work, like mirrors and words. [editline]31st December 2010[/editline]
Oh hey zin, welcome to EVERY dream of mine. Fix it please :v:
Perform different RCs, like looking at your hands, looking at mirror, or clocks. Thats what I do if nose pinch fails (every time)
I do and last time when I looked at my watch in a dream the RC worked and I started saying I'm lucid and doing stuff but never became lucid. Happens all the time, even my sub will come up to me and say I'm dreaming and tell me to do an RC and I don't become fully lucid. I dream about lucid dreaming. I've been trying for like 6 months whilst reading this awesome LD book loads.

I think you've got to chill on dream stuff and get some other dream juice, like school life.
I'm in the army, no school for me :v:
I'm in the army, no school for me :v:
Army life, what ever. As long as you are laying off the dream stuff. Note that you can still RC and hope you lucid, just make sure this army life becomes your main focus.

Don't think about it at all during the day and stuff.
