As I posted ages ago, I became lucid, resisted some sort of dream character who was trying to stop me from being lucid and walked out of a shop. I stabilised and examined different techniques to understand I was dreaming (I tested out if looking at hands really showed that you were dreaming. The right side of my hand went on FOREVER!). I then looked around and realised that as I was no longer subconsciously generating my surroundings, they had gone blank aside from the shop and bench I'd come from. I then tried to experiment with summoning the embodiment of my sub who did finally appear and sit on the bench. So actually, I did quite a lot. I guess it varies from person to person. Just because you experienced your first lucids one way, doesn't mean everyone will. What with the subconscious bandwagon on here, new people's expectations of lucids may be a lot higher, and would reflect on the quality of their lucids in their dreams.

Most people dream for quite awhile. Besides, the part about experienced dreamers is... well, there's nothing in those fake dreams that means actual lucidity. I mean, why choose to do stuff like that? Seems like the sort of stuff that happens in normal dreams, imo. In related news, I dreamt I was a gangster in Canada and I played against Wolverine in Starcraft. Then House hit me with his cane and I woke up

It hurt like fuck too, because it felt like I was holding in piss but I really wanted to actually just piss. I lost half an hour-an hour's sleep.

You train yourself easily to do RCs for the specific environment since it keeps happening.

After a week of torment from being banned and watching helplessly as this thread slides down a slippery slope of shit, I am happy to say, I am back. SO DREAMS Okay, stereotypical 'nightmare' (not terribly scary, but a fear I have nonetheless) when trying to deal with that one part of my mind that I don't know what it is but is female and racist against cookies or something? Anywho, heavy winds in a ?gym? near my school, but the weather was otherwise normal. It would sort of calm down a little and people would try to go back outside, but then it would start up again. I had earplugs that I tried to use to combat the differential air pressures, but my ears popped a couple times anyways (I have the earplugs IRL due to lifelong ear problems). Anywho, tornado finally came, we went to the attic/storm shelter (except it was less safe, what with the windows and the whole attic thing). We tried to stay in the parts where the roof met the floor, and I took the spot closer to the tornado to keep the glass from cutting up someone else. Long story short, it finished, I went downstairs, and some hicks swung by to laugh at us, etc. Anyways, having proved something or other, what's-her-face showed and I asked what I had been meaning to ask, and she said her answer and congratulated me. However, I was semi-lucid, and I told her that that was nothing at all like what she had said last time, and I asked if she was just yanking my chain. She tried to act like she didn't know what I was talking about, but I knew better. That was basically the end of the dream. So I hate that I've spent all this time on a wild goose chase. Advice?

I had a horrid dream, it made me sick in real life. Something about eating eggs or something awful.

yeah, My dream last night was something about my car, then my parakeet was sitting on my shoulder, being all cuddly.

Mass effect dreams are still awesome.

I had a dream where I confronted this guy verbally about something I didn't like that he was doing, and he pulled out 2 knives on me, 1 in each hand and starting slashing at my forearms, so I grabbed one of the blades, bent the knife out of his hand and stabbed it into his sternum. Was pretty messed up, and I actually felt the pain of the slashes on my forearms, and I woke up after realizing that I just stabbed someone fatally. I think this dream shows my anxiety of confrontation to others that are an aggressive type of person, not knowing what they will do if I tell them what they are doing isn't right and they should stop or whatever.

Im not sure, but supposedly marijuana kills dreams, and codeine (perscription painkiller) gives awesome dreams.
