From my understanding, mirrors aren't always scary. It was most likely a frightening image you saw because you expected to see something scary.
I know. I tried it once, and all I saw was my face. But no matter who was in the backround, or where I moved, it just stayed there smiling. So it was more like a portrait instead of a mirror.
I had never tried inducing a lucid dream before, so I attempted MILD 2 nights ago. Nothing really happened, but I definitely had a strange feeling. I felt like I had got in bed, then got out a second later to get ready for school. I felt rested, but didn't feel like I had slept at all.
Tried again last night. I got to a point where my body I knew I could move, but my body felt cemented in place because I didn't have the will power to move them. Felt pretty damn weird.
why the fuck do you keep trying to divide up the OP
I'm writing it, good god
What happens when you tell someone in your dream they aren't real?
Last night I had a really weird dream in which I was kissing with my friend from school and he was my boyfriend.
I woke up, and "WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST DREAM?!"
This will be stuck in my head for weeks. :gonk:
What happens when you tell someone in your dream they aren't real?
I'm going to try that now
I keep having dreams where I start rolling off my bed, and it takes a long time and I know it's happening, but I can't really do anything about it, then when I fall off and hit the floor I wake up.
I get really confused when I think I'm supposed to be on the floor but I wake up on my bed.
What happens when you tell someone in your dream they aren't real?
It depends. I've told projections I'm dreaming and they didn't really give a shit. They thought it was cool because I thought it was cool, I was excited.
Last night I had a hypnic jerk and jesus christ I was pissed
I was sort of delirious because I was falling asleep and I had an image of a swimming pool crossed with a field crossed with a warehouse in my mind and I thought I was there until I jerk'd and realized I was awake.

it's a sign
I'm joking don't worry about it
I've been experimenting with Lucid Dreaming. I've began writing in a dream journal and I plan to go buy some Vitamin B-12 Tablets and Melatonin when this snow storm dies down so I can get to the store.
How the hell can you do reality checks when you are dreaming, shit is supposed to feel real in a dream. My mind is full of fuck.
Does anyone have any more useful or interesting information on immobilization during dreams? One's where you loose motor control or attempting to wake but cannot? Seem to have had a couple of those and was wondering if anyone had any info on them.

O_o
What happens when you tell someone in your dream they aren't real?
You have just inspired me to work my ass off for a lucid. Thanx.

Yeah, they might feel real, but do they really look it? In most dreams, you can be walking down the street and a fucking hippo can walk by and you'll probably just say "Hi!" to it, or just ignore it. You have to just train yourself to recognise that when weird shit happens, it's prolly cause you're in a dream.
I had a dream about the heavy.
Thats what I get for playing tf2 late into the morning.
Wrote in my dream journal during the night and when I woke up at morning, there was nothing on it.
Damn false awakenings.
speaking of which killing yourself doesn't necessarily wake you up as I learned a few weeks ago
just thought it was worth noting that it doesn't always happen that way
I died in the dream last night and then went to hell, escaped the demons and ran to heaven which was basically a snow-covered mountain range filled with floating bridges and cities. Was cool. Found an ancient library from a cave afterwards, where two ghost dogs resided.
:v: beats mine
So, I had one of the weirdest dreams ever, and I thought this was probably the best place to post it. Keep in mind I had this dream about 3 days ago, so my memory is a bit hazy.
In the dream, I was a person that a person (can't remember the gender) had made up, sort of like an imaginary friend, but I’d only show up in their dreams. However, every time they woke up, I would black out. When I woke up (AKA they went to sleep), I would act differently, as if I had multiple personalities, the only thing, was that I couldn’t control what I did, but I knew how I had acted the previous time.
This was also one of those dreams where it seemed to go on forever. If I needed to remember, it was around a week that it felt like.
So, did Jake or whoever write any chapters past 19?
I had a dream in which Tribes 3 came out, it was the epicness.
So, did Jake or whoever write any chapters past 19?
nope
nope
the question that follows would be: y?
Mmm Orkel haven't seen you post here in a while. So anyways now I'm having lucids every 1-4 nights without even really trying so I want to try and improve on dream clarity. My dream recall is really great now, but the dreams aren't clear enough. How would I go about improving this?
When doing WILD, I sometimes get tricked by having images of me attempting WILD and failing. Naturally, I think i failed and fall asleep.
yea that sucks. always do a reality check after a "failed" attempt for good measure
doing the taking off sunglasses thing is always a good method for clarity
woke up at 4 which is when my rem has been starting the past few days
had a blocked nose
forgot what I was doing
fell asleep until 7
great

Does anybody else get little visions before they go to sleep? Not REM but sort of fuzzy screenshots of your life if you know what I mean. I saw the school PE hall from two different "views" and saw a beach and some other stuff.
So, did Jake or whoever write any chapters past 19?
He WROTE them, but he won't share them. It's too personal. Which quite frankly, I'm fine with. I respect boundaries.

Yes, but not of my life. Usually my imagination, sometimes, it gets kinda screwy and goes away from my imagination, so I try get it back on track, which I usually do.
Anyways, I have a problem. My last lucid, I didn't have enough time to stabilize my dream, plus, my arms were stubborn to move. How do I fix?
