Whenever my friend tells someone to listen to Rose Funeral they look like they're about to get raped. Their faces are hilarious.
8 days, zin? 8 days?

Musically, they're fine. They just sound like every other band like this, they're not very impressive. If you're aiming for scary, try Anaal Nathrakh.

Pretty much always does.
How come some dreams seem to last days and some seem to last mere minutes?
I just love that feeling when you wake up when you had a long dream. Feels like you've returned instead of woke up.
[Ex] REALLY doesn't want to sit by herself at the game today.

Good, I hope she does.

Not sure. I do, however, know how it's possible.
Basically, when you're sleeping, you're not even thinking of anything. That's pretty obvious. So your brain's free to do what it wants. When you enter REM, you get flooded with certain chemicals that push your brain into hyperdrive, and when it's like that and it's only thinking about one thing (your dream), it can think REALLY REALLY fast.
I, however, HATE that feeling.

If you guys like those bands. Please give Demon Hunter a try. "Meladolic Metal" My favorite band in the world. Listen to more than just one song though. Try "Follow the Wolves" "Storm the Gates of Hell" "Beauty Through the Eyes of a Predator" Whats cool is that every album they have a slow but good song. "Blood in the tears" Carry me Down" "Heartstrings" Let me know what you think.
IN RELATED NEWS.
All I remember is that it was another big dream. That's it. :frown: Im starting to get annoyed at not remembering ANYTHING.

Christian Metal, eh? Listen to Devil Wears Prada, they're christian too.
[editline]04:16PM[/editline]
I've always had a soft spot for Soldier's Song. And the Triptych.

Yeah I heard of Anaal Nathrakh, but they aren't my thing. Hell Rose Funeral isn't really my thing either, I just have them because the screamo is hilarious to listen to.
Christian Metal is surprisingly good. Devil Wears Prada are great but August Burns Red is one of my favorite bands. Them and Haste the Day are the best IMO
If you want some hilarious metal, listen to this. The drums at 1:02 are fucking funny. They're not triggers, either, he actually learned to do that.

Wait, he learned to do THAT? Thats impressive.
I don't know why, but metal is extremely unappealing to me.
Dude. Mumford & Sons and Band of Horses is where it's at. Ask Ellis.

Eh. I don't listen to metal anymore, my music tastes change with my mood week by week.
Just keep doing it. Practice makes perfect.
This thread is now a music discussion, eh? Well, I actually like old music, like Blues and Jazz. Significant examples being The Ink Spots, Frank Sinatra, and a few others.
But back on dreams topic. Usually, if I wake up and remember a dream, I jot notes down in a small notepad by my bed, just short enough to not take forever to write, but just enough detail to remember it. Then I log onto my laptop, and write the date, time I woke up, and describe the dream in more detail, using my notes to help me.
hahahahaha holy shit that drummer is a a tank
I'll check out Mumford and Sons. They seem like a bunch of cool guys
hey does turning a radio on quietly while you sleep help induce lucidity? it seems like it would, but pretty much all i know of lucid dreaming is what i read in your first dreaming megathread.
also, what about staring yourself down in a mirror and..... "challenging" your subconscious to let you have a lucid dream?
inb4: im a noob to dreaming, ive only remembered and written down like... 20 dreams in my lifetime.
not to be an asshole zin, but i distincly revall you saying "this is a threrad where i answer peoples questions" or something like that.
...unless youre finally moving your shit
last off topic note: i listen to heavy metal. and classics: jazz classical. oldies etc.
zin you say practice makes perfect. but i remembered them like 5 days in a row. but all of a sudden it stopped.
Off to the waterpark.
Ask Ellis to give you a list of bands I gave him. If you like M&S, you'll like all of them.
Man, I had an odd dream last night... I might have had another one, but I couldn't really remember it too well.
I wake up in a room that has a catwalk towards the middle, and maybe 10ft down, there's another level. For some reason, there's an A Capella group just standing in the middle of the catwalk (How did I not think that was weird?). They seemed very eerie as well, and one of them turned into a zombie, so I came to the conclusion this was a haunted house.
I ran to a window in a separate room and tried to get out, when I realized a couple other people like me were there. I do remember disabling the zombie, but I can't really remember how.
After defeating him, he disappeared, then, I grabbed something from the room and proceeded to exit the small enclosure.
When I walked out, he appeared, walking out of a room almost diagonal towards us. He was different this time. His face was more decayed and he looked like a Crimson Head from Resident Evil now that I think about it.
I think I hit him with a fire extinguisher. He just walked back to the A Capella group and said "This program will re-initiate in 10 minutes" or something along those lines.
As silly as it is when I look back, it was pretty scary to me at the time.
M&S Lionman is an awesome song.
Page Monarch.
I don't remember any dreams last night, i had such a frantic morning
Just got memory foam mattress cover and pillow. So comfy :v:
